Title: marshaling at Lemans 2017
Post by: aidan on July 21, 2016, 07:32:07 pm
Hi
I attended Lemans this year as a spectator and had an amazing time. I am a race marshal and did the 6 hours of Silverstone and I really would love to marshal at the 2017 race at Lemans. has any one got any suggestions on how I would achieve this? I have an MSA licence and an overseas permit but the web site for the ACO isn't greatly helpful!
thanks
Aidan

Your best bet may be the British Motorsports Marshals Club.  We Brits used to have a post on the Mulsanne, (near the golf course?).  They changed everything this year (or was it last year) so this may have ended.

Language may be a problem, but I bet most of the teams would rather have an experienced marshals, rather than the local taxi drivers etc

I saw this on the ACO website...

and I saw this elsewhere:

Your best bet is to post on Ten-Tenths in their marshals section. Many LM marshals post there
