3  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: ALLOCATION FOR 2009 RECEIVED on: February 05, 2009, 08:47:14 pm
I spoke to 1st Tickets this morning, who have been able to sort me out with a Bleu Nord pass. Gald it's sorted as I starting to get worried roll on June.
4  Club Arnage / 2013 / Re: 4-6 campsite passes wanted - HA, MB, BN, KN or EXPO on: February 04, 2009, 09:15:46 pm
Had an email from just tickets today. All they have left are a few Blue North and Blue South at £63 each. You have to buy 2 gen entry tickets for each campsite ticket at £68 each. They then add a "currency surcharge of 10% on the order, which is nice of them!!

I had an e-mail from Select Motorsport yesterday and they are doing the same. I only need 1 GA and 1 Camping Ticket, I will be speaking to 1st tickets tomorrow.
5  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: RAC Rally or whatever its now called on: December 05, 2008, 10:29:29 pm
I have to say Wales Rally GB is joke, I think the blame for this one can be laid at the door of the dear old FIA. The problems is that the team's had to tell them what tyres they where going to use back in September and they are not allowed to change them in anyway.

The 2009 provisional schedule has been released:

March 8-9: Official Testing - Paul Ricard HTTT, France
April 3-5: 1000km of Catalunya - Catalunya, Spain
May 8-10: 1000km of Spa - Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium
July 31-August 2: 1000km of Algarve - Portimao, Portugal
August 28-30: 1000km of the Nürburgring - Nürburgring, Germany
September 11-13: 1000km of Silverstone - Silverstone, England

- Algarve will begin in the late afternoon and end in the dark
- Another race could be added, TBA at the prize-giving ceremony November 15th
- One of the races may be changed to two separate 500km races on the same weekend
- The official test will be open to the public

I like the sound of the race in Portugal the track is only 70km from Faro airport and there are loads of cheap flights too.
9  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Monaco, LeMans, now Huntingdon? on: October 05, 2008, 10:40:08 pm
I will be there next Sunday, really looking forward to it.
10  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Embassy Racing shuts on: September 28, 2008, 12:54:49 pm
I'm in shock, I can't believe the news. Embassy are (sorry where) my local team as there workshop is only a mile up the road from where I am sat right now. I have meet Jonathan France many times over the last few years and I know that he had big plans for Embassy Racing over the next few years. Hopefully this is just a blip and we will see them back at some point in the future.
11  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Return Of The Vulcan on: September 14, 2008, 10:47:27 pm
And the icing on the cake at todays 1000 KM's at Silverstone , a fly over by XH558 at 2 pm during the race. I couldn't believe my luck. Waited 15 years to see her fly again and now seen her twice in 7 days.

I must admit I was there but I missed XH558. However I was told yesterday that she will be back at Silverstone next weekend to do a flypast just before the start of the Britcar 24 Hours.

Is that clean one (also on the showroom floor) behind the winning car for sale or also just on display?  Cool to own one in the gulf colors.

Yep that one is for sale, sadly it £97,500.... Sad

You will never guess what I found in my local Aston Martin Dealership on my way home from work on Monday:-

Yep its the 009 Aston and winning car in GT1 from this years Le Mans 24 Hours, it is currently on display in JCT600 in Leeds and will be there for the next few days, it is well worth a look.
14  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Return Of The Vulcan on: July 06, 2008, 10:24:07 pm
I did find out yesterday that there is a bit of a link to Le Mans. One of the major backers of the Vulcan to the Sky Trust is none other than AD Holdings. You may or may not know that AD Holdings is owned by Mike Newton who drives the RML MG.
