Great stills. When does the pizza delivery guy turn up?
"Hey lady, did you order a pepperoni pizza? Well here's the pizza and (zip) here's the pepperoni..."

Seriously tho, the tees are great, I prefer the longer stripe.

And the model is a babe. Is this Mrs RobboSPS? If so you are a very lucky RobboSPS and if I were you I would not be wasting my evenings posting on a futile chat room like CA.

Good job guy...
... what is your production cost for this one?

I'm still chasing for a continental manufacturer...
... and a continental model too  ;) !!!

I want one!!!!   And a t-shirt  ;D

Seriously, I prefer the longer stripe, and even more seriously....Anna's a babe!!  What camp site will she be on next year??   ;)

I am a little worried about the cord coming out of her arm in the first pic though. I bet she's a "fembot" All the pretty ones are (as Austin Powers will confirm)

Much as Anna is very pleasing on the eye, where is the 36DD Brunette???   :o

Wotcher Robbo,
Top pics. Well done that man!
A couple of points:
The logo on the front was sketched in perspective, I think it was intended for the 'Club Arnage' bit to be in normal type (as in the logo at the top of this page), not tapered.
Is it right out of the question for the stripes to go from top seam to bottom of shirt? Maybe it could be worth contacting another printer on this one.
Nice teeth.

Excellent job Robbo, I prefer the longer stripe too.

Is Anna doing the Morcambe and Wise dance in the first pic and the Status Quo thing in the second through ??

I prefer the longer stripe too. You show an excellent taste regarding the design and the selection of the model as well.  :-*

Well done, Robbo. I'd like the longer stripe given a choice. they should also be good for the wet t shirt comp

I confirm...
...local printers said the same thing to me.

For this T-shirt and a quantity between 100 and 250 the price would be 4/5 Euros each

Christ, it's getting cheaper by the minute. Margins must be tight in the t-shirt world.
What are the chances of having the CA logo in light blue (same as the site logo)? It should give it a bit more depth, and avoid the Domino Pizza look.

Firstly due to the type of printing ( screen ) the stripe is as long as it can physically go on the long strip version . I did give the shirt shop the arnage Graphic on disc to scan , so i am sure it can be changed to normal , not the tapered look , although it looks good as it stretches round the chest !
The stripes cant go to the seam as the t shirt is curved and the lines are to be straight . If the T shirts come in a few sizes the curve is diffenet and would need adjusting , therefreo new screens to be made up , slowing down work rates , rising costs and generally being a pain in the arse .
The printer thinks if you want the stripes all the way down , we would have to order from a T shirt manufacterer the plain t's with stripes , then order the printing . It would cost a small fortune .

I like the look of the t shirt despite the Le Mans 2004 logo missing, which is being rectified now .

If anyone else wants to shop round , feel free , but most printers use the same methods and i would / you would encounter the same problems .

The t shirts for an order of 100+ ( need to check if we can vary sizes ) are about £6.50 plus VAT , or £8 cash .

Big H - I will check on the differnet blue later this week when i return to the printers.
I think some one ( Maybe dave or Chris ) has to make a managment decision on this otherwise my new car will get hundreds of miles ferrying ideas to and from the printers .

£8 seems a damn good price to me. We should be able to raise 100 sales between us.

Well done for all the legwork you are putting into this. Let's not let it go to waste.

btw - is Ann related to PaulaTheDrooler? Brian might know...Brian?

Smokie, did you get the email I sent you in response to your prompting on the old link. I had a message back saying it had been delayed for four hours. I think it must have broken down on the M25 or something. I'll tell it to set out earlier next time.

BTW, also want to say well done to Robbo for his efforts in producing what seems to be an excellent  sample shirt.

Nikki ( the lovely lady printer ) is adding the Black Le Mans 2004 logo on right brest and  changing the arnage logo to square writing in lighter blue. She will let me knoe when they are done.

Half a dozen people in their shop think they are realy swanky t shirts, so they may even propmote the design in their shop ( discounts hopefully )

So BIG H whats it like to be a designer ( unless you are already  ) ?

I have re sized the rest to fit them all on the site , sorry if the last ones are a little big.

This is the shorter striped version.

I prefer the longer one .

Just what exactly did  you have to resize to fit on the site !

Also, "I prefer the longer one", isn't that what all women prefer !

Seriously though, the long design is the best one to go for.

Something like that.  Rhowena is a great model and a good friend.
No sniggering at the back there!!!  No really.

She was filmed on the grid in 2002 for the Valliant movie. I wonder if
she made it to the big screen....

OK OK geoff@geoffmorgan.com....see if you can break that too

Some scumbag tried to break it last week. They sent out many many thousand emails selling bigger dicks and tits, and worse. I know cos I got back about 1200 mail messages where the original was undeliverable.

Unfortunately as a result, and due to a rule I had recently implemented on my email, a friends wife received from me an email titled "Does she look young enough to ****", plus a selection offering farmyard action...she now thinks I'm some kind of perve...

One less Christmas card to send anyway...

btw smokie@stones is lying too. Some emails have reached me but obviously it's telling you it's rejected. Never mind eh?

I have added all requests received in this thread too.

Robbo brought some empty t shirts to show us on the Sat evening. I preferred them full, like in the pics - but never mind that. They are the mutts nuts.

The representative group from CA decided, unanimously I think, that the long stripe was preferable. I personally like the idea of having the year on it too, but I was distracted and don't know how the voting went on that.

Whatever, well done Robbo for the efforts on this one, let's get a full order book and go for it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the price will be between £8 and £9 depending on quantity. Distribution seems to be the tricky area - Robbo (quite rightly) doesn't want the task of packing and sending out 100+ t shirts! He is happy for those passing through Portsmouth to collect, but not everyone does that.

If anyone has a bright idea how this can be achieved please say so.

Mail me on smokie@stones.com if you haven't already, to place your order.

Le Grand Fromage thinks  that  a slight clour change on the rings around the logo is the final thing to put right. That design is being made as i speak ( not quite as its 1 am ) but when done will post the final picture, hopefully with Robbo's babes as models.

Gilles , My company dont make any business with anyone.

Grand Fromage is going to post out an e mail to all those who he has details for ( about 3000 people ) and that has the idea of giving out to those at Portsmouth , then at Maison Blanche , maybe by the early arrivers , like Smokie and Powermite , or on Bleu by me.

Dont worry about Boot space , my trailer is huge and can cope with a few t shirts.

If people did waant them posting, then the costs can be covered by them. In the UK you can post stuff with No postage , and the other end you pay the bill, but pay a 50p handling charge.

I'd rather have mine posted, being a pain in the arse.  Helps get in the swing of things. And it would mean that I could put it on on the Wednesday and not have to change until Monday evening  ;D

My suggestion would be if people want them posted, get them to send you an addressed Jiffy bag with the postage already paid.  I don't mind paying a small gatuity to cover your time and labour of sticking tshirt in afore mentioned jiffy and throwing it in general direction of a post box

...while I don't mind spending a bit of time dishing out tee shirts, I can see problems having to hang around more than I want to, or ending up on Sunday with a load of people's t shirts on my hands...

The idea of sending a pre-paid envelope might work...? Some would have to be large envelopes tho (10+)

Or maybe if people sent me their names and addresses (no, not yet) I could cut 'n' paste into Word and print labels, which would help.

This is a tricky one which we need to crack...

Title: Re:T Shirt Designs / Tee Tee FN
Post by: Robbo SPS on November 14, 2003, 02:08:25 am
Right ,

This is the idea.

The list that Smokie has includes some requests for sizes. The group leaders have left e mail address. Once the list is final and i have chased the people for unknown sizes , this is how it will work.

I will e mail you all ( group leaders/ people who have requested the t shirts )
In the e mail i will ask to clarify any issues , like who is paying the bill and when and how do they want them delivered.
The t shirts will have to be paid for before i order them as the total bill could be £600 to £1000 dependant on numbers. And my overtime bill doesnt cover that..... yet .....

In the e mail replies i will want a postal address should i need to correspondne and a time you want them returning.

In the interval time you will need to send to me at an address in the e mail a large bag ( bin liner will be good ) and  a cheque for the postal amount.

I have 12 t shirts already made up so will go to the Post office and get the rates arranged . Then its up to you. The t shirts will take a week to print once orders finalised, then its delivery time.

Is that clear or not , bearing in mind i have just finished work and its blowing a gale with horizontal rain..... Bloody sea Side towns

That is as clear as glass, and I'm sure everyone really appreciates your efforts.  All we have to do is abide by your instructions.  Simple really ;D

The postage rates are as follows .

Each T shirt weighs 200grams and after 1kg the rates are a little more.

1 T Shirt = 56p Second Class
2 = £1.10 Second Class
3 = £ 1.68 Second Class
4 = £ 3.06 First Class only from now on
5 = £ 3.67
6 = £4.56
7 = £5.45
8 = £6.34
9 = £7.23
10 = £8.12

To the best of my knowledge no one has ordered more than 10.

Any feel, yet for how large an XL actually is?

I have a 44 to 46 inch chest ( jacket ) and broudish shoulders, 6'1" and 15 1/2 stone , and its a good fit, not tight , but not a tent.

Does that help , or do you to know the colour of my eyes , inside leg etc  :P

Thanks Robbo, that's actually a very big help.  No I don't need your inside leg measurement, but there might be some other out there who are interested :o

Cheers mate ;D
