I heard it will share components with the new Ford Ka (platform and engines).
It will not be an entry level Fiat sitting below the Punto, but will likely be a 'halo' type vehicle, like the BMW MINI.
i.e. expensive and not as 'cool' as the orgignal.

I like it and I dont like retro as a rule! Agreed wont be as cool as the original, but cooler than a Ka.
Looks as FIAT are on a bit of a roll IMHO. Punto, Panda - love the look of the Dakar Panda
