Title: CA Guide. A vote of thanks
Post by: Bob U on June 07, 2007, 11:58:50 am
I think this subject deserves a seperate thread.

What a fantastic effort. Autosport eat your heart out.

Thanks Werner and all of the editorial team for producing a first class guide which is not only imformative but is making money for charity too.

WELL DONE GUYS

Fantastic job, well done to the team and to Werner for the organisation

I second that, this will be hard to match by any professional. If I'd known the high standard, I would have tried to spend more time on my bit.  :-[

And I thought last years was unbeatable.

You've surpassed yourselves. Again.

What a fantastic piece of work, printed mine off this morning and will nip to the stationers at lunchtime to have it bound for easy reference during the race.... maybe a nice plastic cover is in order if its going to be wet!

thanks again to all contributors, This is my 7th visit and this has tons of useful info that i certainly did not know. . .  (including how to get to the poo bar!!)  8)

cheers

Ed

Great effort guys and girls, what a valuable addition for anyone going to the Great race, I do hope it brings in some donations for our specified charities.
Again top job.

Again, a first class publication.

I've just had a look at the 'who's online' stat's - 30 guests, 22 members.  The vast majority of the guests (and some members) are looking at the 'CA Guide Download' thread.

Incidentally this is how I picture Oldtimer in my mind's eye.  ;) With any luck I'll be able to prove myself right next week!!

Andy, you know you're on the wanted-list of authors for the CA Guide 2008! Next year, there'll be no escape for you ;D ;D

Although I have a number of years at Le Mans under my belt, I though I'd have a look and print one off for the benefit of two of my lads who are both coming to the race for the first time this year

What an absolutely superb piece of work - a credit to all involved - well done and top marks.  Should keep the lads quiet for a while reading it oin the way down!  ;D ;D ;D

The people I have recommended the guide to would also like me to thank everyone involved on their behalf. I've told them to register and contribute to the forum to help push the 'maximum users online' statistic up ;)

Have just had a quick scan through & am astonished at the quality of both content & design, the girls & guys of CA have excelled once again!! Many thanks to all involved, I know it helps my sanity from having to answer so many questions by new members of our team!!

As a side note, a mate of mine is after the 2006 guide (have no idea why) does anyone still have it hosted online?? Sorted, thanks Neal!!

See you all at the poo bar!!

Yes, everyone deserves a good pat on the back for all your hard work. The guide is excellent. Good work people.

My only complaint, is that it gives me several uneasy moments at work when i am trying to print out 123 pages without getting rumbled by the supervisors.

Still I would rather be printing out 123 pages than the 600 pages of a workshop manuel that someone else was trying to print out on the quiet today ! LOL !

Just got to talk nicely to someone at work to print off the entry list section in colour for me me.

Superb, as I've said elsewhere...

SWMBO was worried that her college work may be in jeapordy when I started printing it, so I had to stop halfway through and order more ink from fleabay!
