Is this T-shirt thing happening or has it just died away?
Looks like the latter to me, Bob. Sad

It was good of Delboy to offer though.

Hi Folks

Many apols - I said I would run with this, but I started a major project digging my front garden!!  I have finished this now, and can devote some more time to other things.

I see that the design ideas dried up - again, my fault - I wasn't driving it.

So, there is still time to get some shirts designed and printed, so let's have your ideas for the pic on the back.

Del

I could offer to do the design in a style similar to these prints I make: http://www.flickr.com/photos/goodduck/sets/72157625339406451/with/5496740966/

i am getting t shirts made of the MP4/4. i take delivery of them on monday and i could share the results to see if you guys like them.

Personally, I favour Bob Wollek but am happy with Henri too.

Do we need a poll of all the suggestions?:

917/ Jag/ Henri/  Wollek

Any more?

As Henri has risen from the ashes (and to curry favour with mine hosts), he gets my vote.

I'd be fine with some sort of "local hero" theme to - could be Henri - or may be a mix: Pescarolo, Courage, Wollek ... some sort of a tribute to our French hosts

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

OK - looks like Henri is becoming a favourite.

Anyone got a 'public domain' pic of him that would be suitable??

Also, do you just want him (as per Steve McQ in '76) or with a backgound of either a recognisable part of the track or a car (Pesco/Pug??)

imho, this year's Pesca is a very pretty car with a paint job which would really lend itself to a t-shirt design.

Totally agree!
Can we also factor in a t-shirt to be delivered to Henri himself!

No chance then Grin

Henri's car reminds me of Mansell's helmet  ugggh
But then I realised its a Union flag.  Henri will be shot at dawn Shocked

Could the union flag somehow replace the usual drapeau tricolore

It looks like a plan's come together
