You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Motorsport News (12/10/05) quote:

Hope this helps (and hope it's true as me & Mrs Dee have tickets to see Bon Jovi at the new Wembley Stadium the previous weekend!!)

I got tickets for the Bon Jovi gig and I booked the ferry for the 14th so if the ACO don't play ball they will f**k things up big time.

which would I rather go to?
Err let me think for a nanosecond

The weekend of 17th/18th falls nicely in a gap of the F1 calander as released today. The British Grand Prix has been moved to June 11th.

Doesn't mean anything in itself, Robbo.  Le Mans clashed for many years with the Canadian Grand Prix.

However, I am still putting my money on that weekend.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Randy,
Glad to here that !  Smiley

But how are you getting round the explaining that " its just another race" to the misses bit. You were saying that that doesn't mater, because all she would see is that you were going to France and she wasn't ! Roll Eyes

That's no frigging good to me though  Lips Sealed Angry -    We go out to Le Mans on the Saturday ahead of the event and make a week out of it .  Guess who's supposed to be working at Silverstone for the GP and will need to be at Silverstone when she should be on the frigging ferry!!

BTW - I'm hearing from fairly good sources that the date is confirmed for 17/18 June.

Do you think bernie has buggered up? Every year he puts a grand prix on the same weekend as Le Mans and next year there is no clash. What is the evil dwarf up to.

I think the short man has had too many balls to juggle to engineer a clash this year.  The footie has given them some problems within Europe i think.

I think he is prob juggling raisins rather than balls (old twat) but it has certainly got him in a mess.
His stance should be, if he honestly believes that HIS sport is watched by more people than any other sport is, 'I will lead others will change and follow' not that he should have to fit in. Unfortunately, apart from a very rare race where drivers actually overtake, there is very, very little sport in F1 unlike a lot of other 4 wheel sports and the pinnacle of 2 wheel sport MotoGP (thanks Valle)
