Calling all North West CAer's, time to put a date in the diary and choose the venue for the next meet ;D
Back to the Cheshire Cat ??? Will allow suitable mooring facilities for the Liverpool Boys.

Just checked my dates and i appear to be free on the 5th December so also add me to the list. Cheshire Cat was good for the first meet so will be a good choice again.

Chris, you can park on city road which runs up from the train station up towards Harkers, there is a set of steps which take you down to the canal side just by the Travel Lodge or Premier inn.

Just to let you know I may see you all there for a drink later on. This Harkers looks looks to be on the site of a pub called the Steam mill which I used to run many years ago. Does anyone know if it was the Steam mill before.

Will be good to see you if you can make it Mike.
Looking at the "history" section of the website it seems the current people have been there since 1985 and converted it from the original warehouse - so seems unlikely.

Not 100% sure yet but I may need to back out of coming to the meal but will decide nearer the day. :(I have somehow without realising managed to over stretch the bank account and gone £150 past my overdraft limit and its still 2 weeks till the next pay day. (Damn flat month pay packets with no OT, how are you meant to live on a flat month !)
I want to go and have a great night out, however a 130 mile road trip for a meal may not be such a good idea on the finances at the moment.
Will decide and let you know either way next week.

Well I was thinking of changing my mind last night when I heard i was getting a £270 cheque in the post, but this mornings little black ice incident is relieving me of £200 of it before i have even got it so it's still unlikely now that i will attend. :(

Still hope yet, I opened some mail this morning that has been sat there a while and discovered a cheque inside for some shares sold after a merger or something. So that was a nice added bonus that I didn't know about yesterday. Paid it in today so I may still make it to Chester yet.
First no money, then money, then a crash so no money again and then an unexpected check so money again. I feel like a damn yo yo this week, down, up, down up.
See what happens between now and Saturday but all being well I I might just make it yet.

Shame Jules couldnt make it, but it was good to see everyone else again and welcome Kev's dad as a new CA(NW) member!
I didnt make it to Bath tho... got as far as the M6 and realised it wasnt gonna work, so went home for a few hours kip and left again early morning!! :)

Thanks for that Fran, there was a family incident which the nearest and dearest had to attend to so that meant there was no child sitting service available to me. >:( I'm glad you all enjoyed the venue, just back from working in Poland for the week.
