The Anti Nowhere League and Motorhead... oh yes please! or Pendulum and The Prodidgy......
-
I'd be happy with Faithless and Foo Fighters
-
Pendulum and The Prodidgy......
That's a awesome combination, that I think is happening at one of the festivals this summer, Pendulum as the support band.
-
I vote Orbital for saturday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FG6tRSpWqJA&feature=related :D
-
It wouldn't surprise me if they'd get Johnny Halliday on stage, after all it's more and more a French party every year :-\
-
Nah......Golden Earring and Focus!
-
ahh the good ol days,
I remember when you went for Beer, race cars, beer, fair ground, beer and friends and a bit more beer
Concert? still wonder why in the first place.
I must be getting old, and drinking to many beers ;D

Pendulum?
Are they a swing band?????
-
I believe that they are a beat combo.
-
I'm seeing The Prodigy and Pendulum at MK in July - quite looking forward to it too. Would be cracking at Le Mans but I doubt if I would see them - too many cars to watch / beers to drink. I've not seen any of the bands at Le Mans in the 10 years that I've been going!
-
Looking back on last year and the Stanglers (best for years) were not announced by ACO till early May.
The good news is Jay Kay is playing Gran Canaria and Tenerife 13th & 14th June, although I would have definately exiled him further - jumped up little s...

There haven't been any worth seeing John! Wailers were pretty good though a few years ago. That was the year of the first CA gathering at the champagne bar with tea-towel heads aplenty.

This is winding me up - I don't have the time for it.
-
So does anyone know which Sports cars I might expect to see at Glastonbury this year....????? ;D
-
Booker T and the MGs, Rose Royce.
-
I understand the headline act will be...UB40 ;D
It's not on the bands web site yet but is quoted else where on the web.
-
If the concert is still on Wednesday 9 June it will be unlikely as UB40 are booked to play in Austria http://www.worldticketshop.com/concerts/ub40_tickets/79168_ub40_vienna
Might be possible if the day is changed to the Sat as usual though
-
I see Green Day are playing München-Riem Olympia on Friday the 11th then heading over to the UK, maybe they could stop off the way :D
-
I'm not sure transporting 120 tonnes of equipment is overly conducive to "stopping off on the way" !!?!?

yea, thats only 3 x artics, ;D

I heard it was the Stock Aitken & Waterman Reunion Tour featuring Kylie & Jason [without Kylie], Mel & Kym, Bananarama, Rick Astley, Sinitta and top-billing is Sam Fox [without her girlfriend].
I believe that their equipment fits in to 1/3 of a truck, the rest is used for shifting the other vegetables.

That will be nice for the Gendarmery, lots of potential pot smokers! :P

The programming circuit this year has just fallen, with its share of legends and discoveries.
24 Hours motorcycle will perform the New York Dolls, Little Bob and The Love Me Nots, April 17.
Little Bob, all French rocker knows. One of the thin blades of rock-tinged blues hexagonal returns to Le Mans with a 13 th album under his arm.
The Love Me Nots, a discovery that comes from Arizona, is a mixed group cultivating cult sixties. As for the headliners, the New York Dolls, they must return to hell.
Born in 1971 in the era of glam and glitter, the group of David Johansen (vocals) and the late guitarist Johnny Thunders, survived but not without difficulty in all the excesses, remains both a precursor of punk and heavy metal.
In June, the 24 Hours car is BB Brunes Wednesday that will make a stop at the circuit to promote her 2 th album. And on Saturday, during the race, another legend will be there: UB40, the English group born in 1978 in the celebrated reggae variety of tubes.
Saturday, April 17 (motorcycle), Wednesday, June 9 and Saturday, June 12 (auto), 21 h, Dunlop Bridge. Free access to all ticketed spectators.

Think the bike boys have the better lineup.

That's sorted then. Saturday evening will be spent watching a motor race and knocking back a few sherbets ::)

NOT happy, with either piece of news.
As you say, Courbé Bar it is.
I intend to start a sit down protest against UB40 in the Courbé Bar, who's with me?

And what once you've set up the camping area for the Cobrateers and find there's a rat in the kitchen, what are you gonna do? Fix that rat, that's what you'm gonna do, but don't come crying to me for help if you don't want to watch UB40.

Yes it should be a falling over protest, we protest till the last man (or woman) is not standing.

So, a minority then. About one in ten I guess?

It could almost be a song for LM fans addressed at the ACO...
I am the one in ten
A number on a list
I am the one in ten
Even though I don't exist
Nobody knows me
Even though I'm always there
A statistic, a reminder
Of a world that doesn't care
:(

UB40, not that bad it could have been a lot worse. Could have been an X factor reject or any other kind of TV 15 minute superstar Dullard......

thank god it aint jedward

It would have been entertaining to throw things at them, ie empty beer bottles.

I think it would be more interesting trying to stuff deadwood into an empty stubby.

Surely you mean empty beer bottles, refilled with whatever fluids are close at hand?

Now, now, this is not a Sex Pistols reunion.
Filling empty bottle with urine and tossing them at X Factor rejects, while undoubtedly entertaining, would be a little bit naughty as well, methinks.
Bottles filled with petrol and lit rags thrown at whoever invented reality TV, on the other hand...

Are Spyker still owned or part owned by the guy who started Endmol, the fools who started Big Brother? if so that could be your target!!
-
Mr de Mol and Mr. van den Ende both had never anything to do with Spyker. Michiel Mol, who is still a major shareholder, has nothing to do with EndeMol. He made his fortune with IT companies.

Unfortunately its true UB40 has now confirmed Le Mans on their tour guide.

Any idea who the support band is?

Bugger. I had planned to watch paint dry that evening!
