If you're around on Tuesday and have nothing else much to do, then Luc Alphand will be at Savigne l'Evecque (15 mins from the circuit)

from 10.00 to 12.30.  Nice friendly small town and a pleasant way to spend an idle morning.

Met Luc Alphand at Silverstone, lovely bloke - very very friendly guy - happy to chat - although possibly more to do with the slightly psychotic, drunken redhead I was chapperauning at the time.

Never the less - he's worth a trip out.  Sadly, I'll be back in blighty at that point....

We also met Luc Alphand last year at the White Horse Pub, Siverstone village where he and the team were drinking bitter watching premiership football the Saturday night before the race.  Respect!
