I don't think that they were clamped for illegal parking I think they were clamped for having such kin orrible colour.

They already own it and about half of London
And I think its a nice colour, but not on cars like that. Its enough to make you puke

Publicity stunt? it worked well, why were they not lifted..... oh because then they could not be photographed. The colour is like the quick Audi's, very bold statement, "I am here", very cool.

The Qatari's are VERY busy buying all sorts of real estate in London.
They are very discreet, so the clamping will be an embarrassment to them, not really the sort of publicity they seek.
Suspect that a couple of junior members of the family will have had their ears clipped.
It's summer time, so many of the Middle Eastern community are in London because it's so much cooler & it's not Ramadan yet.

Not with those cars & colours they aren't.
