Rolled in the driveway late last night, had a great time as usual. The weather was sublime this year, and the crowd reflected it, the place was absolutely stuffed. Terrific race, still too many safety car periods, but thats me a being a grumpy old sod. Wild finish in GT with the Risi Ferrari running out of petrol with a couple hundreds yards to go, handing the win to Vette, their first win of the year. The Peugeot's looked to have things well in hand, despite the best efforts of Allan McNish, the Pug's being ridiculously fast down Road Atlanta's long back straight, clocking 205 MPH during Friday evening practice.
Great to see all the CA'ers who made the trip, Doris it was absolutely fantastic to see you again, huge thanks for the globe treking Autosport, enjoy your summer down under while we're all getting dragged kicking & screaming into fall & winter up here ;D. Randy & Mrs Amazing great to see you again, see you on the other side of winter at the old bomber base, Jerri, very happy to see your well mended and back in fun spirits, as is the other Sebring casualty Kirsten. As for the this years Petit wounded, Lee and Phil, it was great to see both of again and hope you feel better soon, Jesus Christ! Racing is becoming more dangerous for the spectators (especially this mob) than the competitors.

After travelling for 33 hours I finally fell in the front door at lunchtime on Tuesday.
What a beautiful track RA is... What gorgeous weather... What a great race...
It was, as always, great to catch up with everyone and make some new friends along the way.
Randy and Sandy - thank you for sorting out my trackside accommodation. It was very much appreciated. :)
Lee - thanks for not being able to drink. The 'take one for the team' tequila was delicious. >:D
Phil - did I or did I not say ribs? Did you listen? Men... honestly... ::)
Fax - great to see you again and partake of a few nigerians with you. :)
