As AccuWeather now shows the start of LM week it must be time to start panicking/hoping/praying about the weather!
-
Well, everybody round here is doing rain dances because we haven't had a drop for nigh-on two months. Thus, they are bound to start working once you lot all start turning up. ::)
-
Are rain dances and other similar rituals always as slow as other French events planning.
Thanks for the heads up Termie, I will come prepared with the Mac, umbrella and full wet waterproofs and bucket to catch leaks in the tent...........
-
It must be time for a dry sunny year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
can anyone else remember what the effect the ash cloud had on our weather last time. Seeing as we are expecting another one in the next week.
-
. Seeing as we are expecting another one in the next week.
Due to reach us on Thursday when the rain is (at the moment) forecast to arrive.
Whether the two are related is probably fanciful, though. What's more, there's been rain on the forecast two or three days hence for weeks and weeks now and by the time the actual day arrives it's "evaporated."
-
Ash cloud is to hit UK airspace tomorrow isnt it?

Slightly dirty cars from what I remember ::) ;D
Shame I'm not overseas this week, t'was a great road trip to get back from Italy last year :D

I'm sure you made the best of it Bob?
We certainly enjoyed the extra 2 weeks in Thailand - thanks for that AXA!

They have changed their mind, now they say it's going to rain Sunday.
But they are WRONG, its going to sunny and scorchio all week. 8)

I forecast that I am going to get very wet travelling down on the Wednesday. Any bets? :(

Hold steady, don't start panicing yet, they have been changing the forecast every day, we won't get a reliable forecast till the end of the week.
And then it's going to be sunny and scorchio. 8)

Quite. We have been promised rain within the next day or two for over two months now and all we have had so far are two three minute showers (and I'm not kidding here) in all that time. The forecast I was sent yesterday (I get an e-mail from Meteo France every morning) had showers for Tuesday. Today there is no rain, nor any cloud, shown at all in the next four days.
I'll believe it when I see it.
-
welly boots and factor 20 as normal.if theres rain the week before dont forget mossie repelent.mind you they thrive in stagnant pools of piss.take spray/cream.
-
Yipes. Thank god anything over 3 days is guesswork. Meteofrance always say its sunny - proof that you can fool all the people all the time, but only in France, and on the BBC and.......
Forget the DDT, just don't let it go stagnant
-
keep topping up the pools.i like a new challenge.
-
As for the weather, I'll be taking my wellies
I always do
-
All change again today.

You must have the same forecasters as the south east of the uk! We have been promised rain for weeks and have yet to see more that a brief bit of drizzle. A repeats of last years weather would be fantastic, not too cold, not too hot, not too sunny, and no rain. Mind you the rain is good on occasions I guess
-
Oh, look - a cloud! Must be nearly race week. ::)
-
Real, good honest rain now. Yup, scrutineering starts tomorrow.
-
Typical!
Still a week for it to blow thru. Fingers crossed, really don't like camping in the rain..
-
It's stopped again here but is very stormy - lots of thunder about. That would be a bit difficult for tomorrow afternoon but nothing ventured - we will be there - rain or shine. :)
-
Think I prefer the weather.com forecast to the Accuweather one.

I'd agree, but with scrutineering tomorrow we're running out of options. I can live with it but I'd enjoy another 5 degrees
-
So don't care. Cars sound the same whatever.........can't wait...........so freaking can't wait.
-
Typical ... allmost no rain in the past 3 months, race week ahead and it seems like they're opening the gates >:(.
-
Just been to the 99p shat shop, 2 pack of Poncho's may be required.
-
throwing it down as I type and as the scrutineering is underway :-\

correction:
torrential rain, thunder and lightning!!
Lets hope this is just temporary and its making way for hot sunny weather for the race weekend!
-
All the rain that comes down now, won't fall next week!
-
Meteo-France forecasts are now showing up untill Wednesday, these are usually pretty accurate.
Shitty Monday, Tuesday showers am, Wednesday showers pm but sunny intervels at other times.
Day time highs of only 18 degrees C though.
-

I agree entirely ;)
I'd rather it rain whilst I'm travelling, which is the next 24 hours.
I'm not sure our luck will hold, so we may have a damp Friday or Saturday
-
Absolutely p*ssed it down but happily some sunshine in between so we survived but packed up at 18.00 once the Strakka had gone through as they were just so far behind and we were soaked. I can hear the water dripping from my clothes which are hung on the airer, as I type. We so need this rain but really, why this particular week? ::)
-
I hope my weathermonkeys are better at there job than all the rest.
Not looking that bad at all

We had torrential storms last night in Charente Maritime (first rain for 3 months), calmed down today, guess it moved north a bit.
I use this site when flying and it's usually accurate, not looking too bad for next week so far: http://www.xcweather.co.uk/forecast/le_mans (http://www.xcweather.co.uk/forecast/le_mans). As Debs says, we desperately need this rain but it could have held off a few more weeks!!
-
Damn, that's cold !
