Title: Tarquin Friday night charity collection on Tertre Rouge

Dear all on Tertre Rouge this year,

our Friday night Tarquin the Tax Man collection this year was in aid of the Royal British Legion 90th Anniversary Poppy Party  appeal, registered charity 219279 www.britishlegion.org.uk

we raised

€368.96
£83.08
FFr2.5
 
Two people each put in £20 notes, two more €20 notes, nine €10 and fifteen €5 notes. Special mention to these generous souls along with the scroat who put in the FFr 2.5 which I will keep to start the collecting box rattling next year.

Top Job, should have rattled over to BN, state of people on Friday night you would have made a fortune  :angel:

The state we were in by the time we had been round Tertre Rouge, we wouldn't have made it to BN before the start of the race!

well, and may I say you all looked very smart at the start of your round but can't remember you getting back so was probably as enebriabted as you by the time you retuned, it was a pleasure to camp next to you all in TR, see you next year
