Hi all,
just read on a german news site that Pesca will not be at Silverstone and Henri is quoted to see almost no chance of participating in the WEC any more. The Dome is reported to be back in Japan - and his remaining car called AMR 1, Pesca 03 or Crap 05 is not competitive - Henri blames the Judd engine.
@Termie: Is there more about this in the local press?
-
Nothing I can find, nor on his facebook page.
-
Seems that the Dome is in Japan, in anticipation of racing at Fuji. The Dome is not an official WEC season competitor so not surprising it will skip Silverstone.

Is his Facebook page of a similarly sour demeaour to his actual face?
-
People think Pescarolo is always grumpy but he isn't. His face is distorted by the nerve damage he suffered in the horrific 1969 Matra testing accident.

He also suffered a minor stroke a few years ago. Yes, he looks a bit grumpy, but its not his fault!

Oh Andrew....mocking the afflicted?? you HORRIBLE HORRIBLE man! :)
Not that I knew - I always thought he was a sour face too....in fact as time has gone on, I've believed him to be THE stereotypical frenchman.....which is odd - because they definitely weren't all aboard that Matra.....

No more races this year for pesca.

Looking towards a future in LMP2!
Oh dear
-
This is the end, my only friend, the end... :-\
Very sad now... but I'm looking forward to what sidestep Henry has in place for next year. He somehow always made it after all. ;) Please...

Reports are that the Pescarolo is in the process of being wound up by the French courts.
The end is finally here.
-
Let's wait. One can fall down, that happens. But it's about how fast you can stand up again, this is what counts. And Henri has shown in the past that he can. He was out in 2010 but came back again.
-
I don't think 'finally' is a word in the Pescarolo vocabulary. He has been re-born more times than the Dali Lama.
The end is finally here.

What happened to French honour. They can't let Henri go to the wall
After all, they'll bail out Henri before the Greeks - wouldn't we all

Has the Dali Lama died then? ;D

The French courts have done what Audi having been doing for the last 10 years and wound up Henri for good today. (Or at least until he restarts in a few months)
-
The process started 6 months ago has reached a conclusion. They must have owed too much to be bailed out. Before Christmas Loeb was linked to Pesca, so I suspect they have a cunning plot.
It not hit the English press yet, and according to Le Figaro and Bing
"The Pescarolo Team was placed in receivership on Tuesday. The Le Mans structure will be difficult to recover from this umpteenth hit hard even though its iconic founder is still believes. The verdict fell Tuesday. And it was not favourable to the Pescarolo Team. Le Mans trade tribunal decided the liquidation the famous Le Mans structure, announced Le Maine Libre. Prey to serious financial problems for several years, the team had been placed since the month of July as a backup procedure which augured no good.
-
In an interview with RLM, Henri has stated that he will be back with his own team in 2014.
Nine lives and all that. I just hope he has learnt a few managerial lessons.
-
If you were going to start/restart in LMP1, would you really choose the year when Porsche intends to do the same?
-
That kind of competition has never seemed to deter Henri in the past. Remember the Matra?
