Has anyone ever bought one of these?
Last time I went out to these corners it was on the bus service and was a proper faff (though not as bad as some of the stories I heard).
Before that I always used to just drive up and park without any payment/ticket.
Is a ticket compulsory now or just a bit of a scam?

I could easily be wrong, but as far as I know, you've always needed a pass to park 'off road' at Arnage or Mulsanne, but enforcement is a bit 'patchy'.
-
That sounds right but, as you say GF, enforcement is a variable - especially on Sunday.
-
Just use a bicycle instead. It's much more convenient.
-
When we've driven down to Arnage / Mulsanne we've flashed the camping pass - has always let us in to the car parks before.
-
If you have a camping pass for elsewhere, it's not a problem.

I'll ask my froggy friends at the ACO for an official line on this one...
Will update when I get a coherent response.

Last time I went to Mulsanne, I parked in the industrial zone. 2 minute walk to the track, never needed a parking ticket for that
-
True. Arnage is generally the access issue though.
-
The official line, I think, is that:Parking at Arnage or Mulsanne during qualifying is free, but is 8 euros for the race days.
The unoffical line is to investigate whether that happens in reality when displaying a camping pass....

I've never been asked for a ticket or payment at Arnage or Mulsanne in the last 32 years. Mind you I have always had a Camping Ticket.

Camping ticket doubles for parking...
