Title: Is Campsite Karting Nord still existing?

Hi there,

just finalizing the campsite chapter for the CA Guidi -  this one isn't listed in the ACO brochure any more - did they forget it or isn't it existing any more?

Anyone knows?

Think that you will find it is no more they will be building a new FIA International Karting track on it.

Can anyone from the test weekend confirm what the state of Karting Nord is currently?

Do we know if that access point to the circuit is still there??

It's certainly closed this year. There is currently a big construction site and most of a new FIA karting track on it.

A business acquaintance of mine, who is a long-term user [abuser?] of KN tells me that as a camping site it is dead, it is no more, it is an ex-camp site

After taking a peek at Test Day, it looks like Karting Nord is now just 'Karting'... having been turned into a karting track, with just the top bit still fenced off for the Tom Kristensen fan club :-)

OK, I've removed it from the CA guide campsite chapter. Pity, I once stayed there in 2001 I think and actually liked it.
