Hi Martini,
As it never snows in Guernsey why the hell would you need to learn to drive on ice ?
If you really want to try it Come to Canada in February .... we have thousands of miles of roads just like that ;D

Hi Martini,

If you really want to try it Come to Canada in February .... we have thousands of miles of roads just like that ;D

Funny you should say that, last March the tropical island of Guernsey was snowed in for four days... hard to believe I know. Fortunately I was in the north of England on business so missed the lot, I was driving around in the sun!
This was a bit of a shame as I would have liked to have been at home to enjoy the snow (not the blizzard part)
Last year we had a full 8 hours snow - then it stopped, we had to stay away from work.

I remember having snow once when I lived in Guernsey too! Proper chaos it was...
Coincidentally, I got back from the Isle of Man last night and this morning the mountain road is closed due to snow!!
I dont think it would have affected my lap times of average 1 hour and 30 minutes though.
