I am not the most prolific poster. but where is all the activity that normally precedes the great event, looking at previous years this year is just above dead, as some of us will be leaving in less than 4 weeks time. It's normally manic by now.

Hello Ian,
Well my flight is booked and my travel arrangements with Tom are in place.
Other than that busier than a one armed paper hanger trying to get as much fun packed in to a short Canadian summer.
motorcycle is in pieces on the garage floor and i am due to ride it to West Virginia in a week.... No pressure.
Looking forward to seeing you and the rest of the Liverpool Boys.

Still here Ian and checking in every day!
I've noticed that we are short of a couple of traditional annual threads:
"This years chariot" and "What's on your stereo"?

On my way to the MOT station, to see if the Beast passes her test!
So that depends on what I will be on :-\
-
My chariots this year, with Ade JW, will be combinations of East Coast Trains, Eurostar and SNCF. We're letting the trains take strain this year with advance parties taking all my gear. Last time I looked trains had bars!!!
-
I'm still here.
A lot of the 'youngsters' now use FB to communicate, it's quiet good apparently ;).
Music for the trip down still to be decided, but I'm sure Dr Feelgood and The Doors will feature somewhere along the route.
I'll start a what where how thread for traditionalists still here.

Hope you are well behaved, not.
SNCF are still recovering from Trayboy and Major Chop using that route a few years ago.

Feeling the Feelgood, Barry and I may drop in some of The Jim Jones Revue, best of Van Halen and QOTSA as they are all in my "recent purchases" play list.
Dambusters, 633 Squadron and The Italian Job all at hand for use and abuse

JJ Revue CD in car at the moment, love to see them live supposed to be cracking. They played LM a couple of months ago, shame they're not there in June.

mmm, plans may change
The Beast failed MOT............ Plan B, C and 5 in operation

me = no, to busy with work and customer want everything yesterday - not told them I'm off at beginning of June for 17 days ::)
so garage = hopefully yes, simple jobs, but big Beast to lift (4.5 ton) and one is the brakes - so will know more next week

Patiently biding my time up here in sunny Scotland. This years chariots are easyjet and TGV. I'm already working on next year's. I may be traveling with a boxer soundtrack colin mcrae style towing a trailer load of super unleaded ;D

big job broke out then!!
Car came back yesterday and it now stops, had its fluids changed so its all good to go. (just checking it might need 2 tyres but may get away with it!)
Dog is off to her parents other than that just need to pack and load the car.

She's not going to be pleased when she sees you talking like that about her. Anyway, I thought you normally brought her to Le Mans?? >:D
-
Still here too, just checking in most days to see how everyone is getting on in their preparations.
As for our own, nothing much to do but wait until our ferry crossing date as no camping gear to clean/air/de-louse(or worse) etc. Will treat the Cayman to an additional coat of wax not long beforehand, as is traditional for me.
REALLY looking forward to 3 manufacturers having a go at P1 and earlier showings indicate a competitive fight. Was briefly contemplating giving it a miss this year in favour of other travel desires but the Porsche announcement soon brought me to my senses.
Also looking forward to sharing good times with the usual suspects.
Hope Neil sorts the Beast in time!
