Just found this – being auctioned over the road from us in Blenheim Palace tomorrow:
Un-raced Bentley blower.
http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/car-advert/bentley/4-1-2-litre/1930/267015/?utm_campaign=010714&utm_medium=email&utm_source=ccfs-auction&utm_content=car6
If anyone is interested, I would be happy to go and bid for you!?
-
Shame. I've been looking for one that's been raced and rallied
-
Where are those bloody Euromillions when you need them ?
-
Can i have a test drive.

This post prompted me to look at the results catalogue from FOS. Some nice and some expensive stuff

Very fine car, but not sure if it is indeed a 'blower'. The sales literature is shocking and not clear. when built it was not a blower, but it may have been added.
For a car of this value I would expect it to have at least to have been spell checked.
intended to take the extra talk and performance of the Blower engines :-\
For that reason, I shall not be bidding.

A very valid reason Nordic! ;D ;D ;D

I completely agree. An icon of British motoring represented in print by people who can't use the English language correctly.
