Did you hear about the light aicraft that crashed in the home counties the other day? I heard it had the main Carrefour man onboard. Sad news, but this got me thinking...
On I lighter note - wouldn't you just love to be a fly on the wall when the Le Mans store manager asks for a replenishment from head office in the 3rd week in June - it must have the weirdest sales of any store in France - paddling pools, BBQ's, cheap wine, ice, burgers - then return to normal garlic & sausage sales the next week I guess?!
Beermountain like the place so much (even better with the refurb) that we've adopted the team motto "Carrefour will provide". Our Paddling Pool Safety Officer has declared it a centre of European Paddling Pool Excellence...

Toad , are you talking about the new kiddies water park / playing area out the back that used to be a store room.

Yes that's the one - you've found it too! It's the place to be seen if you are into the Le Mans Paddling Pool "scene"!
