So I've been absent from the forum since this years trip, brilliant as always. I've been a busy boy since my return, some will say too busy though ::)
Proud to announce we have a baby on the way next year ;D Due 21st of June so mini me has put Le Mans to bed for the foreseeable. Bright side is junior will have an awesome birthday one day. Who know what sort of power the cars will be running by then though.

Mike, you forgot!
You forgot the month of abstinence!
Seriously congratulations on the news, and if he/she is early I'm sure you can get there if you really try. >:D

Haha! Like I say,I've been a busy boy ;D If the wee bugger sticks to his or hers dates then a nearer future return could be ok but much earlier and it's gona be slap bang on Le Mans week ::)
-
Congratulations Mike but what you playing at? As you've said, it just has to pop out early and that's LM out due to the bairns birthday for many years to come. ;D ;D ;D (which really should be :( :( :()
I'll see if I still have my old scalextric in the loft to tide you over.

I told Brad and I'll tell you now, it'll be late.
Book tickets and don't panic.
Are you sure that the date is accurate?
My missus always gave people a date at least a week later than the doctor's EDD so as to stop family rainging up and asking if the child had arrived yet.
Just saying.....

Going by the dates we've worked out we're actually due on the 13th but with the measurements they do they are saying the 21st ::) hence why I won't be booking up for next year. If the experts are right though it won't be too long till I'm back.

Book her indoors to come with you and have the baby in Le Mans hospital! You will then have a great choice of names to comemorate the circuits drivers and the birth of new offspring. A birthdate never to forget.
PS only epidurals offered in french hospitals, no gas and air.
You will be a legend if you pull off my cunning plan.

Seconded!

I'd third it but raging hormones and the French might not go down too well.

My other half mentioned babies and planning a June baby yesterday.
I told her to think again as I'm not missing the race, the reply "you can still go"
I smell a trap!!

What kind of idiot conceives a baby to be due Le Mans week? ::) :P
Congratulations Mike :)
Whilst Paul is right - it will be late... if you leave her whilst she's that pregnant, your funeral will be early - so it's swings and roundabouts really... :)
Get the kids involved early is my advice. Zak has done 3 WEC races, and a Goodwood Revival so far - "racing cars" was in the first 20 words of his vocabulary - that's the kind of thing which makes you really proud!

Learn to fake an orgasm, it's easy so i'm told! Then you wont get caught out.
My biggest girl 3rd word was Ferrari, and my eldest boys 1st was tractor, pretty good eh?

I reckon she's done it on purpose ;)
Yeah, the only Motorsport I'm getting to this year is a couple of rally's and the McRae event at knockhill in May. After that it's whacky races with a pram. Can't wait for an excuse to play with toy cars and lego again though.
