Mark your space!
So we know where to go for a beer.

No 'kin clue for the moment... "PAUL!?"
-
Back in Nov the ACO assured me I was on the golden list and that I would get my usual allocation without having to apply online. So I didn't. Normally they send a letter asking for payment around Christmas.
I was a bit panicked the other day when people here starting saying they've already received their tickets, but today ACO have confirmed that my booking is good, and confirmation letter is in the post to me... <phew>
-
Still got the golden bollocks then ::)
-
Russ, I/we are in Rusty's/Club Langoustine's hands on pitches.
Looking forward to hearing from M. Rusty or Messrs Langoustine shortly.
-
Andy at Langoustine has confirmed our pitch of 10. Not as close to the Brethren as we'd have hoped (the other side of the P.H. stockade in fact), but still within stumbling distance. ;D

<phew> indeed !!

Got my confirmation from Andy / Team langoustine - but don't know yet where the pitches will be - hopefully next to Rusty & the gang again.
-
I'm pretty sure that we're in Parcel E which is a bit of a shame as The Brethren is over in Parcel A. Though better there than some Godforsaken site somewhere else.
I doubt that I'll even be able to throw anything and still manage to hit Rex from that distance >:D

could an admin sticky this, thanks
-
I hope, considering we'll be on the wrong side of the idiot stockade that it means we'll be handier for the bogs
There has to be an upside, Shirley
:(

Five pitches booked and paid for within Club C'Arnage.
Brilliant!
-
Gary, I've booked with Speedchills this time so not sure where i will end up.
Bill - good to see you're coming back :-)
Any other spridgets in your group ? To my shame I may well be in a modern thing this year.
-
Yes there should be some
Me = Frogeye
Bill (Purdu) = MG Midget
Nick = Frogeye (but more likely in the MGA)
Bob T = Possibly 1500 EFI Midget (but more likely in the support vehicle)
Gary.2 = MG Midget
Andy B (and mate) in a Frogeye
Toby = Possibly twin cam MG Midge t(BMW K1000? cylinder head) or family barge)
Toby's mate Peter in ?
Possibly Ant T = Audi turbo nutter flying machine thing, if he can get time off for good behaviour.
Bill, Nick, Bob T, Toby Ant and I all originally used to camp on Houx Annexe before they built the football stadium car park, so this year will be a really great reunion.
You've still got time to finish the K series Konversion
-
Did Toby finish the K head ? I used to keep checking his site for ages for any sign of progress.
K series is progressing. All the A Series have now gone as of this weekend. The Booking has the Midget on it, just have to see how confident I'm feeling at the time :-)
-
Am I missing something (or have browser issue) or has no one marked their pitches on the chart?
-
We're on there now...
-
Haven't got our pitch numbers yet.
-
Waiting for ticket distribution.
-
Us too.

Agreed Bill, missed last year which was daft, nice taster in April at Silverstone, going to be a good series.

Gents
I apologize for not getting this done. I have the pitch numbers and will email the allocated places to the various CA groups later this week.
I have been holding back as we have one group that may still be adjusted in size.

Thanks Andy, that would be great.

Just added our pitch in purple it's GaryFrogeye, Purdu, Toby etc (disappointingly far from the Brethren). I couldn't see how to add our names next to the legend on the left, but hey ho!
May have one spare pitch available at cost, if someone wants to join us.

Click edit in browser at the top, then you should be able to enter type.

Ta Barry, tis done and also replied to your pm
-
Our pitches are marked - same area as last year :D
.... and we'll arrive Wednesday morning.
-
Ours are marked, at least that where I think we are, yesterdays planning meeting is a bit fuzzy. ;D
-
Marked up as well. Same area as we've been in for the last few years and for the first time in a while all camping tickets in a single block of pitches :D.

;D Your pitches are correct and I've added ours
-
Have marked our 5 in yellow. Basically opposite The Brethren and Robbo's crew.
2 arriving Tuesday
3 or 4 arriving Wednesday
The rest on Thursday
Possibly...
-
Will mark ours out when I can get onto the home computer, as the IT stasi systen at work doesn't allow the link to open up. Located over at back road to Arnage end of the site, in our habitual place from which to sally forth and enjoy the week.
Me + lad - 350Z or the MGA
Neil - Blue Steel Love Tube (XKR)
Jez + Chris - a BMW 335i or Alpina - which one will depend on whether the recent shunt enjoyed by Chris has written off his Alpina...
Pete + Barnsley - 350SL cruisemobile
Alex (aka biker chick for those who remember her) + Dan - Mini or Ovlov tank, or one of those plus her Ducati.
Usual deal for us, camping with Elanman and the rest of his crew. Travel out Dover/Calais on the Monday, arrival on Tuesday.

Yes Mark, We remember Alex :) . Unlucky for you, we're a bit closer than in previous years and I'm now fully au fait with the construction of my rather tall tent (so you can stand down the troops).
Looking forward to seeing you all again in June.

Be good to see you and the crew and look forward to it greatly. But.... you fully au fait with erecting your own tent? Perleeeez.......you're aving a giraffe......
The lack of such annual amusement as that spectacle provides would truly be a great loss.

Never fret me lad, you will be able to watch me trying to remember whether it is this stick or that stick in the front
One 'up' side is that at least we will be bog side of the bloody great Pistonheads prison camp
No walking round that interminable fence to prevent some awful disaster
Hoorah!

Depressingly no. I was hoping for a period of unemployment about now to finish it off - couple of weeks to nail it should do but..... My many and varied talents are still gainfully employed. Means that Rachel is happy though...
Kids means that no chance of weekend work, Rachels working like a trooper so that counts evenings out as well ;-(
Might have to go to a garage to get it done, tried a couple but not got any responses.... Might pop down to Ace on Tuesday to catch Perdu and Gary (seeing as I missed him again at the weekend!)

Toby,
Just trailer it out to Le Mans with the necessary bits - the combination of the many and varied talents of CA members and beer should make it fairly easy to sort out one evening out there....

Think how many beers I'd owe people ;-)
Looking forward to this year - been back with the kids (and got photos to convince them!) but not during race week....

Remember, it is only quantity that counts after the first couple and, Super U/Auchan prices, the bill would be relatively modest.......
Looking forward to seeing you again!

Dear All,
Have been away on parenting duties for about 5 years now and delighted to find the same joie de vivre on the site as when I last posted.
Wishy are you out there?
Hoping to bring 13 yr old this year for first visit and haven't been prudent enough to plan ahead with tickets etc..
Is there a ticket/camping ticket forum this year?

I've got one spare BN camping ticket going spare at (team langoustine) cost of £70 if you don't get sorted. We are a group of 10 pitched and nine already allocated. PM me if you're interested.
