What's the story here? Were they out shopping in Oxford Street?

It was a WEC 'Public show off' day to promote Silverstone and the series. Ferrari, 2013 Audi, 2014 Toyota, 2015 Nissan mock up and an Aston Martin for 4 hours in central london

As said, it was a publicity stunt for the WEC/Silverstone round. Early on there were a few drivers around to sign autographs including Anthony Davidson. Fortunately for me I had to be in the London office which was only four stops away on the tube so was able to pop down at lunchtime.
