Title: New Year's Resolutions
Post by: smokie on December 29, 2003, 06:06:10 pm
So, what resolutions will you all be making on Wednesday night?

Nothing that will spoil your enjoyment of June I trust...

FWIW, I'm considering the usual ones - trying to i) stop smoking and ii) lose some weight.

But I am not going to make either a resolution as I've never managed to keep one yet...

1) Stop buying any more Xmas tree lights for the base camp (I have 6000 or so)...even though they are half price in B&Q.
2) Ditto Smokie - lose a couple of stone
3) Learn how to cook, so I can impress "Chef" on the odd occasion...
4) Always drive at the appropriate speed limit
5) Admit to myself that Philippa Forrester is out of my league!

Sorry not to be an expert in British mythology, but how does she look like ?  ;)

1.  Drive more sensibly and considerately.
2.  Run the full length of the Twickenham pitch wearing only a smile.

(may have a problem with the second one ................ come to think of it, also the first one)

I think I'll try the following:

1 ] Drink more beer

2 ] Smoke more fags

3 ] Eat more food

4 ] Shag more wimmin

5 ] Get more points on my licence

6 ] Make more money ( necessary for all of the above ) or win the lottery (ha)

7] Have more fun at Le Mans

I've tried all other routes and none have been successful, so I'll put a positive angle on this year rather than trying to decieve myself. Self control has never been my strong point.

Happy New Year 'all
Rusty

I resolve never to make any more resolutions.

It's never worked in the past so I can't see the point anymore.

Happy New Year All  ;D

Toad, I am very disappointed in you. Have you not seen what a big fat monster Philippa has now turned into these days? She must be at least a 14 stoner!

Gents

I fully appreciate she's gone a bit saggy of late, but she was once a dream date...

Just to rub salt into my wounds, Mr Disco was at a party (with his ex) a couple of years ago when he met someone who worked "with" Phillipa (agent or something?) - anyway, every time Mrs Disco leaves him and he's without company, he gets out a personally signed Phillipa picture out from his bedside drawer!! I've tried to buy this from him, but no joy to date.

Philippa was on the telly this morning.

She has just had a little boy called Gus (good) but is officially now classed on the Zarse Index as a Butter Pig (bad).

Well she might have gone all baggy in the bits post-sprog but she can give my forest a filip any time! And to make sure this is deemed a Le Mans comment, I am of course referring to the "Esses de la Forêt"!!  ;D

no, it hasnt!  was broken last year and the Mrs convinced me (with her womanly charms) that I should do a month from my regression, so I went to just before Valentines day from New Years Eve with only 1 pint  :o

She came to my work about a year ago and as I used to think she looked the bees in her leather pants on Robot wars, I thought she was a bit of a minger. Plus shes really small like a lot of TV folk. (probably to fit on the screen and now shes going widescreen). But all things aside she would be a celebrity shag (a shag where you can boast to your mates every time she comes on)

Crikey DR!! Impressive!! I'm lucky if I can last an hour!! OK I exaggerate but certainly couldn't give up my chewy ales for a month. Usually down a couple every Tuesday at least at the halfway house on the local cycle "training" run as incentive for getting out on the bike in the current weather, so about a week is the most I can manage!!

 ;D
