Title: New Year's Resolutions Post by: smokie on December 29, 2003, 06:06:10 pm So, what resolutions will you all be making on Wednesday night?
Nothing that will spoil your enjoyment of June I trust... FWIW, I'm considering the usual ones - trying to i) stop smoking and ii) lose some weight. But I am not going to make either a resolution as I've never managed to keep one yet... Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Mr Toad on December 29, 2003, 06:13:34 pm 1) Stop buying any more Xmas tree lights for the base camp (I have 6000 or so)...even though they are half price in B&Q.
2) Ditto Smokie - lose a couple of stone 3) Learn how to cook, so I can impress "Chef" on the odd occasion... 4) Always drive at the appropriate speed limit 5) Admit to myself that Philippa Forrester is out of my league! Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Gilles on December 30, 2003, 09:48:23 am 5) Admit to myself that Philippa Forrester is out of my league! Sorry not to be an expert in British mythology, but how does she look like ? ;) Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: gibberish on December 30, 2003, 11:48:55 am Sorry it is not a better picture Gilles, but she is lovely.

2. Run the full length of the Twickenham pitch wearing only a smile. (may have a problem with the second one ................ come to think of it, also the first one) Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Rusty on December 30, 2003, 04:01:51 pm I think I'll try the following:
1 ] Drink more beer 2 ] Smoke more fags 3 ] Eat more food 4 ] Shag more wimmin 5 ] Get more points on my licence 6 ] Make more money ( necessary for all of the above ) or win the lottery (ha) 7] Have more fun at Le Mans I've tried all other routes and none have been successful, so I'll put a positive angle on this year rather than trying to decieve myself. Self control has never been my strong point. Happy New Year 'all Rusty :D Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Gilles on December 30, 2003, 04:05:43 pm Sorry it is not a better picture Gilles, but she is lovely. Toad, I am very disappointed in you. Have you not seen what a big fat monster Philippa has now turned into these days? She must be at least a 14 stoner! Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Matt Harper on December 31, 2003, 03:27:01 pm I must agree with Zarse - I think she's a bit of a minger
Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Robbo SPS on January 02, 2004, 12:59:18 am I must agree with Zarse - I think she's a bit of a minger Matt , you got me hook line and sinker on this , I think she's top class, and that smile , eyes ........ I fully appreciate she's gone a bit saggy of late, but she was once a dream date... Just to rub salt into my wounds, Mr Disco was at a party (with his ex) a couple of years ago when he met someone who worked "with" Phillipa (agent or something?) - anyway, every time Mrs Disco leaves him and he's without company, he gets out a personally signed Phillipa picture out from his bedside drawer!! I've tried to buy this from him, but no joy to date. Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Andy Zarse on January 11, 2004, 08:29:30 pm Philippa was on the telly this morning.
She has just had a little boy called Gus (good) but is officially now classed on the Zarse Index as a Butter Pig (bad). Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Mr. Rick on January 11, 2004, 09:11:09 pm Well she might have gone all baggy in the bits post-sprog but she can give my forest a filip any time! And to make sure this is deemed a Le Mans comment, I am of course referring to the "Esses de la Forêt"!! ;D
Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Andy Zarse on January 11, 2004, 09:35:15 pm She's now built like the side of the brickbuilt Tribune Benoist! ;D
Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Ruptured Duck Motorsport on January 11, 2004, 10:42:22 pm Phillipa is OK, I would think twice before kicking her out of bed in the morning....
My new years was same as last year - January with no alcohol :o :'( Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: jpchenet on January 12, 2004, 11:14:01 am Phillipa is OK, I would think twice before kicking her out of bed in the morning.... My new years was same as last year - January with no alcohol :o :'( I trust it has been suitably broken?!?! ;D Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Ruptured Duck Motorsport on January 12, 2004, 10:00:52 pm no, it hasnt! was broken last year and the Mrs convinced me (with her womanly charms) that I should do a month from my regression, so I went to just before Valentines day from New Years Eve with only 1 pint :o
Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Stu on January 13, 2004, 09:41:39 am She came to my work about a year ago and as I used to think she looked the bees in her leather pants on Robot wars, I thought she was a bit of a minger. Plus shes really small like a lot of TV folk. (probably to fit on the screen and now shes going widescreen). But all things aside she would be a celebrity shag (a shag where you can boast to your mates every time she comes on)
Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Mr. Rick on January 13, 2004, 10:00:34 am no, it hasnt! was broken last year and the Mrs convinced me (with her womanly charms) that I should do a month from my regression, so I went to just before Valentines day from New Years Eve with only 1 pint :o Crikey DR!! Impressive!! I'm lucky if I can last an hour!! OK I exaggerate but certainly couldn't give up my chewy ales for a month. Usually down a couple every Tuesday at least at the halfway house on the local cycle "training" run as incentive for getting out on the bike in the current weather, so about a week is the most I can manage!! ;D Title: Re:New Year's Resolutions Post by: Ruptured Duck Motorsport on January 13, 2004, 07:02:51 pm its difficult... giving up smoking was a doddle
