Title: ELMS Portimao

Decided to go to the ELMS at Portimao this year.
Anybody been to a race there and can offer advice/tips?

Pieter might have been there? when is it? great area, tempting, to combine with some good food and wine for a weekend

easiest way to fly in is to Faro, then approx 45 min-1hr drive max. i have passed the track several times during business trips

I'm tempted, as I've been to Portimao (but not the circuit), and it just needs a cheap flight, a cheap rentacar, and a cheap hotel.  But then I can't be bothered to go to Silverstone, so I might try that first.

It's my 60th birthday on the day before the race, so romantic, doubtful!!!!  ;D
