2020 will be the 25th year of continuous operation of Club Arnage.
I think we should celebrate this somehow. I have a few ideas for "25 Years" 2020 edition shirts and hats, but I thought we should throw it to the CA community to find out what else you think we should do.
What do you think?

Needs to be remembered definitely a T shirt or something. IF Rusty has time one of his brilliant designs or something?
-
gosh is it that long....
I'm only a teenager on this site :o :o
I'M up for any celebrational merch :)

Pants I've still got the ones i wore to my 1st Le Mans.I need a new pair so anniversary pants would be my suggestion.Other then that any thing mighty Russ designs would be great(pants included). 25 years though.Wow.

Yup, definitely worthy of some tasteful apparel. Polo shirt with suitable logo?

I also like this idea very much. And what about a CA Anniversary Gathering trackside or in the village?
-
Definitely polo shirts, would love to replace my 2007 lanyard.
Poo bar trackside? It’s gotta be done...
-
My vote would be polos as well.
-
Yes. Can we make something out of 25 of 24 in 20 or

I'm with Toby, it would be good to have a new lanyard
Hanging tastefully over a new CA polo shirt
At the poo bar trackside on Saturday, shall we say evening around 9.00pm

Dave,
i'm in for a new lanyard, my 07 one is still going and also an updated polo shirt.
Still have my Delboy's tee shirts, still going strong after all these years.

Lanyards no problem also polo and T-shirt. What else?
I like 25x24@2020 - Maybe on stickers / patches?
(PS Just realised that 25x24 is 600 hours of Le Mans!)
Things we have not done before (or nor for a long time)...
Enamel pins and/or ties to wear at the Classic 24.
Ear defenders.
Fleece jacket
Backpack

Some nice ideas, definately like the polo. A tie is always uesful, espcially for meetings
-
Good grief, has it really been 25 years!
A tasteful polo shirt would go down well here too.

oooh a fleece jacket or enamel pin wouldnt go a miss
-
Maybe try to get them out (polo shirts etc) for Christmas market?
-
Good cause for celebration and recognition, and still a great place. T-shirt and Lanyard please.

My original lanyard has gone brown! Worn out, which is weird because Lawnmower Man had it for about ten years before I even got it!
-
Hi ,is there any news on plans for merch to celebrate??

Hey Guys. Been a long time since I've been on the CA site. Good to see some of the old timers still posting. Congrats on 25 years of excellent information and help to race fans interested in sports car racing. I haven't been to Le Mans, Sebring, or Petit Le Mans in quite a few years. Am now in Colorado for the summers to escape the hot, humid summers in Houston. So I have hooked up to the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb in Colorado Springs as a race official. (like a track worker). So if anyone finds themselves wanting to see some Race to the Clouds racing come on to Colorado Springs the last Sunday of June. Finish line is 14,110 feet. Second oldest racing event in the USA.

Hi John
Lovely to hear from you after all this time. Delighted to hear you are well and still enjoying your racing. Pikes Peak is a bucket list thing for me so if I ever make it I will certainly hook up with you. I hope all is well and best wishes to you! Andy Zarse

In the lifespan of internet forums that is a pretty impressive achievement!

Andy my man. Good to hear from you as well. Yes Pikes Peak Hillclimb is a heckava race for sure. It is frightening to look at the edge of the road and only see blue sky. That's the way it is up in elevation. Start line and first 2/3 rds of race is among the trees but above the tree line it's a bit disoriented especially driving at high speeds. And, yes, the dirt road was a hoot in its day. Lots more drifting for sure. Last Sunday in June, just after LeMans. Hope to see you. Cheers and drive it like you stole it!!!!!

Gents - I'm in for any celebratory merchandise but particularly like the ideas of embroidered polo shirts (I still have my original), lanyards and a bumper sticker.
-
Thread revival did anything happen in the end - just thinking ready for the race this year.

There were some badges a few years back. I think I've a spare one if you're desperate
