The June tickets are valid for the re schduled race, no exchange required.
However if you can't make the September date, or your plans have changed you can get a refund from the ACO, if you bought them direct from them.
HOWEVER YOU MUST DO THIS BY 31st MAY.
-
They have changed the rules of the game, if you apply from today you will get a credit note, not refund, valid for next year.
Refund if you have already applied before this date.
STILL HAS TO BE APPLIED FOR BEFORE 31st May 2020.
June tickets still valid for September date.

They've had to change the law to issue vouchers rather than pay cash
-
Any one had a refund yet for tickets brought from the the Le Mans Tourist Board, completed their refund form weeks ago haven’t heard a thing
-
Seems to have become quite the thing to give credits rather than refunds. My mate said it's because they don't actually have the money.
I wonder if you could claim the ticket cost from an annual travel insurance? Maybe not... they are slippery...
-
My mate said it's because they don't actually have the money.
They've spent it on stubbies and merguez, so its gone to a good place. ;D
As for travel insurance, I've had a quick look, and this sort of thing isn't envisaged, and there are helpful sections like "If you are not able to go on your trip" which deals with cancelled flights and delays. Must be worth a try, if we're still locked in.
Isn't the Tourist Office shut.

I've just applied to refund a couple of entry & a couple of GS tickets.
Typical ACO level of clarity in the confirmation page:
2020 Le Mans 24 Hours Credit Note Claim
If you're holding your hard printed tickets, the refund will be made only once we received them.
If you chose the eticket option, we'll proceed with the refund asap.
For any question regarding the refund, please use the email serviceclients@lemans.org and indicating your order number and race in the subject.
Kindest Regards,
The Ticketing Team

So is it a refund or a credit note I'm getting :)?

A little credit "incentive" on this side of the pond for the WG 6 Hours.....
"Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen postponed to October 1 - 4, 2020
05-15-2020, 01:53 PM
This is an unprecedented time in the history of our country and community.
We are all being impacted in unimaginable ways and thank you for
your patience as we navigate through the uncertainty.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IMSA and Watkins Glen International
have made the decision to postpone the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen until October 1 - 4, 2020.
Your tickets and camping will be honored on the rescheduled date of October 1- 4 and,
if you plan to join us on this date, no further action is necessary.
Alternatively, you may elect to receive a 120% credit for the amount you paid to apply towards a future event in 2020 or 2021,
at Watkins Glen International or at any of the NASCAR-owned racetracks."
No mention of a refund so I'm presuming that is still an option.

I like the idea of giving an incentive to customers to take a credit note rather than a refund.
Someone using their brain.

Question. I just got a credit note for my entry ticket, will I get one for my camping permit as well?

What form did the credit note take? And was it a paper or digital ticket you bought?

The dredit note was downloadable and I'd ordered a digital ticket.
-
Hmmm, that's odd - I bought digital tickets, requested a credit note/refund but haven't heard anything after that initial request was confirmed... and the my tickets page shows me the tickets I bought, but no credit note or anything...
-
Received a credit note for digital tickets via attachment to email yesterday.
Applied for refund on 26th May.
-
Just been reading the small print on the credit note, if you don't use it by 31st May you will get a refund after 1st June.
If you do use it, it must be for the same type of tickets that you originally ordered.
As I understand that statement if your refund was for camping passes you can't use it for grandstand tickets, or vise versa.
But we will see.
