Well done to the"Burgundy Beast" today, as our man Ian has started the Gurston Hillclimb Championship with a class win today and to boot in the most appalling weather conditions.
Also racing for the first time was the yellow Ginetta from the October track day.He said he was hoping to do the hill in ! minute unlike Ian's sub 40 second run.

Did you see my brother-in-law there on the safety team / marshalling.

I'm sure I did Steve :) I think he was on the startline.
Then again maybe it was at the Carousel, or was it the finish line......

I think he was at Thruxton too.... ;D

Steve, sorry I didn't see your brother-in-law, or anyone else for that matter. I had my eyes shut whole time!! Seriously though, all the Marshals did a bloody fantastic job, so can you pass on my thanks to your brther-in-law.
Thanks for the mention Wishy, and providing the "Shed Crew" as pit support!
Next venue on the "Beast on Tour" is Rushmoor, nr Aldershot, Hampshire, on the 9th May. Then Wiscombe, nr Honiton, Devon. That's on the 16th May. If anyone wants further dates, they can contact me through this site,

You going to do Shelsley on its (possibly) last year?
-
Sadly not. It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive from me, and doesn't feature in the Championships I'm entered into. But you never know in the future.
-
Well. Here is a piccy of Steve's brother in law and a few mates trying in vain to tame "The Beast" on Sunday!!!!!!!!!
-
Try this one!!!!!!
