I know this is a little in advance but I am trying to decide my plan of action for next year!! Due to my job going to india cant comit to the normal 10 day trip so am going to blast down on me bike to get to the circuit probably thursday next year, but want to know how easy it will be to get into the circuit to MB where hopefully my tent will be waiting for me??
Anyone do this ? or have done this? Any help appreciated

I went on a push bike the first year and they wondered why I bought a ticket they said I should have just walked on as there was nowhere to display the ticket. Having said that there have been a large group of people on Houx with motorbikes each with a ticket stuck to the wind deflector.

Last year 4 guys travelled on bikes and met us on campsite. They passed their helmets over the fence to us and rode into the site no problem. With no helmets and kit bags they appeared to be returning from a ride out. hope this is of some help.

Thankyou I did speak to a guy last year who said he just rode straight in but in full leathers etc might not get away with it!
Keep the suggestions coming

Chris,
Have taken my bike last 2 years, first on Bleu, second at Karting Nord. Camping ticket checked almost every time I went into the site, with or without luggage, even when wearing shorts and a tee shirt. Some Herbert even wanted to check it at 1am once. Got a little better by Friday as one or two of the guys on the gate started to recognise me. Real pain as I haven't got a fairing and had to dig it out of a pocket each time.

I couldnt get in and out of Blue in 2001 without fitting ticket onto bike, ruining my screen with that horrid goo.
Soo in 2002, this was the result.
And never a problem after turning up on day 1.

After hearing about the razor wire on the wall on MB, I suggest watching The Great Escape for a good campsite entrance tip.

We were on Houx Annexe last year and I don't think Dan or his cousin Gary had any problems with coming and going on their bikes.

Just watch out for the machine guns if they catch you
