Anyone know as I have paid for mine and I still don't trust them. Excitment is building. Just tried out my new tent in readiness for this years race. Can't wait.

Well they should be sent out to arrive before PQ but that has never happened,so I always collect mine there. However you should receive them during May

It's all a scam. They never send them!! You just have to be the first at the gates.
I'm leaving tomorrow, see you there dudes !!

Got mine today.
Usually, I arrive at PQ to be told they had sent them "Yesterday..."
So now I order the stands/camping tickets, and buy the Entrance tickets when I get there.

Picked ours up last week whilst on holiday in France,Dont worry if you have not recieved them by the time you leave, take your reciept to the large ACO centre when you get to the track and they will sort. We had ours stolen while driving down a couple of years ago, the ACO were very helpful and replaced them there and then.
Have a good trip.

Mate just mailed me to say he has got his through the post, so mine hopefully should be here any day now. Tensions building.

Today the booking office wrote to me: "Your tickets are printed and are about to leave."
Nver had trouble the last years, tickets sometimes came just 2 weeks prior to the race but they always came...
-
Werner,
One can only wonder at the mentality of an administrator who writes to tell you that the tickets are printed and will be sent soon. Why not just send the bloody tickets or don't bother writing. Unbelievable!

Remember, this is the French we're talking about, not sensible people. They are after all, the ones who looked at a snail and wondered what it tasted like!

That's indeed a corker. Do you think they'll write again to say they're nearly nearly ready, and then perhaps a telegram to say 'any minute now'?

Hmm... I thought it was normal practice as I had a knock at the door just before dinner and it was President of the ACO, Michel Cosson. He called round to let me know that he had seen my tickets there and an envelope with my name on it. Isnt this normal practice??! ;D

Mine arrived this morning !
All as ordered - no problems.
God bless the A.C.O. ( did I really say that ? )

The ACO replied to my email and said:-
"Your tickets leaves this week by registered mail."
-
:'( :'( :'( :'( I WANT MY TICKETS!! :'( :'( :'( :'(
-
Got mine today, according to the stamp on the envelope they posted it on May 9.
-
Do you think the ACO will write to you in a few days time to check they arrived safely?
-
So, just out of curiosity, when did you guys who got what they asked for (Christ, sounds like xmas doesn't it? "Please Santa, I would like a couple of camping passes for Christmas"!!!) put your order in?
I emailed in my reservation for 2004 on the Monday after PQ, I was informed that was when they opened for 2004 reservations. However, bearing in mind this was over the weekend of 3-4th May I got the follwoing auto-reply from ACO:
"Due to the 24 Hours bike race this week-end, we are out of our office and are not able to respond. This will reopen on Monday, April 14th."
Erm, hello? I sense tumbleweed blowing through the offices of the ACO.....
-
I did mine on arrival for the race on the Tuesday at The Rotonde. Will do the same this year.

Not sure it really matters when you place your order, as long as you're fairly early. We order ours in late June / early July and usually get what we asked for. Received them two weeks ago.
Seems a bit of a lottery - only a lot more balls ups.
