The winner: Audi Sport UK no. 88 with Jamie Davies and (now scream ;D) Johnny Herbert (entering the Curva Parabolica)

Second place went to no. 8 Audi Sport UK with Pierre Kaffer and Allan McNish (at the wheel outbraking the Pesca at Prima Variante. Oh, look at the nicely glowing disk brakes ;D)

The Goh Audi came third with Seiji Ara, Dindo Capello and Tom Kristensen (exiting the famous Curva Parabolica)

And some more from the hosts, Team Rollcentre. Thank you very much. They came a very good fifth behind the Pesca, btw. It's been only their second race in the car which belonged to Oreca. This is Joao Barbosa outbraking the Nasamax at the Prima Variante.

Rob Barff can do that as well... ;D

And Martin Short into Parabolica as it was starting to rain at the end of the race.

And finally, the Rollcentre crew (or parts of it) as they are waiting for the finish. It's a monitor up there for those who are wondering what they are looking at.

Wonderful pictures HGB. Thanks very much. ;D

Great shots HGB.
I trust you have invites for all of the CA group to the Rollcentre pits and hospitality in June??? ;)
-
I'm working on it... ;D
-
Superb pictures - thanks.
I didn't get to see any of the coverage as I was performing decorating duties against my will. However, I spoke to my sister in law who was working for Veloqx at Monza. She said the weather was truly awful toward the end of the race; torrential rain. By looking at most of the photos, you wouldn't know it.
Apparently, Johnny wouldn't pit to put on wets and finished the race on slicks.
Nice to see that us Brits can show something for all that practice in the rain !
She said that the feeling in the team is very good and they have their eyes firmly fixed on a 1-2 finish.

Indeed, it was raining quite heavily during the last half hour.

That could have something to do with the huge cut in his lead then!
