Since the old stands on the outside of the track were replaced with the new mecano style ones I have become slighlty confused on naming and numering :(. We have paid to sit over the pits and would like to make sure that these are infact what we are getting before we leave, last year we thought we were going to watch all the action from above and got stuffed at the back of one of the new mecano sets. The real problem is all of these, including the pits are simply named 'Tribune' I think. If somebody could throw some light on this it would be much apprechiated ;D
As for the Friday, when the OB decide to spoil the party and throw the water pistols away, we will need some more ammo to improve on the 'Senegal Senegal Senegal' from last year, any thoughts ...

They are called tribunes because that's the French for grandstands. Just as stands are pits.
The big covered stand over the pits is Tribune 12.

Many thanks ;D

Heres a tip for the night time when they are empty.
if you aint got a ticket, bribe the steward with a packet of fags and two beers. i worked for me last year on the tribune at ford chicane looking up the S/F straight.

What's this picture that you add on your profile ?
Did you drink so much at the PQ picnic?
Was the road not enough straight?
You seem to finish in the gravel, or maybe the grass of the Bugatti. Have your car any dommages (except the door) ?

Great place to spectate from Andy, we used to go there every year. Even better if it rains, we watched Brundle stuff his Toyota there during a 'shower'. Shower my arse, he just overcooked it.
Unlike what happened to the Merguez I'd consumed earlier.
