Title: Hotels...Gilles Post by: Dan on May 19, 2003, 01:08:34 pm Bloody stupid question..
Does anyone know if we could get a hotel at this late stage near the circuit, this is our contingency plan if we cant get our tents down to the Houx Annexe????? How about the Concorde... :) Title: Re:Hotels...Gilles Post by: Gilles on May 19, 2003, 03:19:04 pm Are you insane ? :P
Finding an available room in Le mans at this period could only be a miracle or a HUGE question of money. I let you see first with the Hotel Concorde (00 33 2 43 24 12 30 or by mail lemans@concorde-hotels.com) In a second time I can only advice you to look after a gite rural or a guesthouse in the country around the track. Some opportunites may be still available... Gilles Title: Re:Hotels...Gilles Post by: Liszt on May 19, 2003, 04:20:50 pm go down to Le mans.
Find a pitch. One stays with all kit on pitch Other nips off to local super martket and buys 2 tents and a couple of sleeping bags total spend £80? Cheaper than a hotel for a couple of nights Title: Re:Hotels...Gilles Post by: BigH on May 19, 2003, 07:55:44 pm Out of interest, and boredom obviously, I got a quote for some local hotels from an agency. Instead of the usual 50 Euros a night, they were asking 500.
I'd rather sleep with Uncle 'you can't give the baby booze!' Peter...
