How far is it and which route are we best off taking?
We are getting the Seacat across early on Friday morning, not ideal I know but I'm already taking Friday, Monday and Tuesday as Sickies!!
We are staying at Maison Blanche so obviously need to make as much time as poss!

Blimey Zonda,
if you're getting to MB on Friday, be prepared to sleep standing up!
As for the route, if you want to hammer it on the Autoroute and are comfortable cruising at high speeds then go via Rouen and Paris. If you want a better driving experience, albeit a tad longer, go via Rouen and Alencon. Buy a map on the boat or use a route finder (the RAC and AA have free ones on the web) or check out the 'Useful Info and Maps' section on this forum. Madrid is nice this time of year.
Bon voyage, don't get lost!

Cheers! I know about Maison Blance but we arrived after a detour (the navigator was pissed!) at 4.45am on the Saturday morning last year and still found a place! :o

It was not fenced off with a sign saying FELIX on it was it????

Dunno, it was dark ;) We were parked next to some guys who'd come down in 2 old Dorchester (stretched MII Granada) funeral limos!

170 miles by dual carriageway and autoroute 3 euros or so in tolls. Pay attention round Rouen the motorway network roud there can be a bit confusing.
We're on that crossing too, red AH Sprite mk2.

I'll keep an eye out! We're in a blue Golf R32

Going via Rouen, then left at Gace and through the twisties to the D301 into Le Mans.
On the 14:00 Seacat on Thurday.
Enjoy,
