I saw this to0! To be honest, I'd seriously coinsider ownership, but I reckon it would cost a lot of dosh to cut up and shift?
Unless of couse we warm up those Olympus engines?! Mr Disco (our team pilot) hasn't done his type conversion to a jet plane yet, but there must be some similarities between say a BAE146 small business jet and a nuclear capable supersonic strike bomber?!

Its only at £10,200 now ???

Loks like loads of tossers were putting daft bids on. The seller looks like he has a pre-approved bidders list now.

A great piece of our aviation history.
I think I've worked out where to put the timing strut. Have consulted an MSA scrutineer, who says as long as the undercarriage is welded, so there's no risk of collapse, he'll pass it, brill! Just need to lay my hands on four BDG Turbo engines! ::)

Yeah. Mustn't be too greedy. They'll do as starter motors for the ex Concorde jets I've got in the garden shed! ::) ::)

I've always wondered whether, with one of these joke high bid auctions, does the seller get saddled with a huge sellers fee at auction close?

Not a Vulcan Bomber, but A Stick

I can confirm that that Vulcan is in a pretty poor state these days and hasn't had anything done at it since it appeared there in the 80's after the Falklands war. I was once asked if I wanted to paint it for them. I said no in sharp order !
-
For those of you that bidded for the vulcan it was eventually sold to a pub landlord!
