Well there seems to be an opening for "Shed" racing after all! Wishy will be overjoyed. He can now upgrade from track-days to doing proper racing!! It'll pave the way for a whole new formula in the motorsport world. MPV 1 Class at
Le Mans perhaps?
Catch Top Gear this Sunday. (As a last resort we can always play conkers with them)
;D ::) :P
-
At least I was throwing the"shed" around before Top Gear had the idea...................and anyway if I remember you were very complimentary about the "shed's " handling capabilities around the Sparkford track!!!
Wishy
-
This is true. Maybe DR can find another "shed" for us to play "cat & mouse" with at Sparkford. We'll have something to aim at then! ;)
-
Will have to put the word out - mind you, my Dad works for "First" maybe he can sort sommat ;)
-
AT LAST, DECENT COMPETITION ::) ::)

Taken Oct 2003. Top Gear should pay you royalties for the idea Andy!
-
I guess that "Top Gear" have been browsing this site ......!!!!!
At least ......I DID IT FIRST!!!!!!
Wishy
-
Did make me giggle, now we need the endurance version. But the way they were driving I guess none would finish 15min let alone a couple of hours!
-
Well they were being driven by BTCC pilots what do you expect! The pogo effect on the Toyota Space Cruiser was entertaining. As I mentioned on the original post, you could have 2 classes for endurance. MPV 1 for Espaces & Previas etc. (Espaces being the class favourite of course ;D), and MPV 2 for the Xsara Picaso & Scenics ;)
I think Wishy is secretly working on an Alfa V6, twin-turboed version, in anticipation of regulation changes :o
-
Do you think the Renult will sell the F1 Espace? ;)
-
Now.....that would be interesting on a DR track day.
Select first gear and go!!!!!!!
I think the F1 Espace was a creation by Mr.Williams and I think Williams still own it,but i could be wrong.
Wishy
-
I belive it was built and owned by Matra. I last saw it it Goodwood FoS.
An incredible beast, your eyes keep telling your ears that what they are hearing is not what the eyes are seeing. A very strange fealing ::)

Do you recall the Ford Transit Van with the DFV Cosworth engine?
There were three altogether, SuperVan 1, 2 and 3.
Pictures of all three here - http://website.webcenter.lycos.de/www.fomcc.de/fordsetzung/03_1/03_1_7.htm (http://website.webcenter.lycos.de/www.fomcc.de/fordsetzung/03_1/03_1_7.htm)

I thought i would send TG an e -mail all about Wishy and his racing shed !

Do you recall the Ford Transit Van with the DFV Cosworth engine?
In this months Motorsport there is a report that "Supervan 2" was a devlopement of the Ford 83C (the successor of the C100). The "Supervan" has been taken apart to rebuild the stillborn race car. It should hit the tracks next year battling it out in Group C/GTP.
-
I have done the Top Gear thing........just waiting for a reply !!!!
Wishy
-
I look forward to you forward to your future stardom. :o
-
I look forward to them coming along with a camera on the next track day LOL
-
Maybe Wishy could get the "Stig" to take "Shed" around the TG track. That fastest time is begging to be beaten!! ;D ::)
-
I...er.....think it deffo comes into the category of economically priced car!!!!
Wishy
-
C'mon Wishy, we don't need the "Stig" to beat the "reasonably priced" car's time. You and I could slaughter that time easily, using all your knowledge of "Shed's" handling characteristic's! ;)
