Club Arnage

Following discussion with JPC and Rick Cutler would anyone be interested in meeting up for a beer or two in Basingstoke on Friday 4th February??

Venue will be close to the railway station( less than 5 minutes) , so easy access for outside town.

I am busy already on the 4th!!!

I am 24 that day!!

Are there any alternative dates?? I can't do the weekend of the 18th/19th/20th Feb

As always open to options... let's get some suggestions down.

The 18th 19th and 20th I am at camping in the back garden of a pub in oxfordshire. It it the Camping And Caravanning Clubs Batchelor Meet!!!

Lot's of single male caravanners getting together and drinking heavily. The word "camp " probably originates from this event. The opportunities for deviant behaviour are rife. Wasn't one of the Village People dressed as a caravanner?

Assuming Friday nights are good for people, how about Friday 11th February??

11th is good for me, spoke with Fat Lad and he thinks we may even be able to have an indian delivered!!!!

Well, at least that'll be in keeping with the motor racing theme.

Actually, while we're on the subject, I've never really understood why the MC at the Indy starts proceedings with a cry of "Gentlemen start your Indians!" It sounds like good advice, but it seems to me he's leaving it a little late.

It's all to do with the high price of crude these days!! They've had to move over to vindaloo powered racing. Almost as fast as a jet car but leaves on hell of a mess on the drivers seat!!  :-\

The 11th is good for me.

The Batchelor meet allows all the men to perve over the young locals that enter the pub. It is a bit like Fridays in LM without the wife or a conscious. ;D

I've confirmed the venue for the meet which will be the "Basingstoke Railway Social Club" which is located right across from the train station.

Could you please let me know if you are coming so that I can give the club a list of names so that they will let you in! And can you give me your real names please  ;D

I will need this list no later than Thursday 10th Feb 2005.

He's going seriously bald hence the nickname. Unfortunately he wont be joining us at the Le Mans this year :(

H, you always either confuse me or create the need for the old grey matter to shut down even if it's just a case of I don't want to visualise some of the things you come up with, but this time I have a feeling that we are now both confused not sure who this is that you are referring to.

I  believe you are referring to Duncan, who is coming to his first Le Mans this year with Abs (shows how shot away Abs' memory is  ;)) and he works for a company whose boss is driving an LMP at Le Mans and is therefore hopefully organising some hospitality and pit passes as well.

Planning to go to Newbury races on the Saturday - should be a good day...

I am planning on being there, Brads not sure (currently nursing a sprianed ankle after discovering the the power of gravity from halfway up (actally down) a flight of Stairs at work). Depends on flights back from Frankfurt for me, due in at 5.45 so should be ok - will there be a chance of food?

Any more for any more??  Big H, fancy a jaunt down the A30?? Mr Brown, any decisions yet?? There is accomodation available for anyone wanting to drive down and stay the night to sober up!

Thanks for the kind offer JPC, I'd make it if I could, but I have 'birthday commitments' that night. Have a good'un though, and don't forget to leave a trail of breadcrumbs.
