                      As that is an American team:
White Lightning is Georgia Moonshine. Home made wiskey. The running of which is the roots of NASCAR racing. Ironic as that may be.

The ACO have released the first list of 34 cars adding to those that had already been pre selected for the 05 race. the remaining spaces will be filled after Sebring.

No Aston or Oreca Audi on this list.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure someone will!!) :-\

But this list is the teams who "qualified" for entry by winning or placing highly at Le Mans/LMES/ALMS last year.

I expected the Astons to be in this list due to them being run by Prodrive who must have put in a good showing last year.
I have no doubt they'll be (almost) top of the list this year, likewise the French run Audi!!

I am however gutted not to see the Morgan featuring on this list...  ;)

The first list that ABS posted is the list of teams that had place on the list by virute of a high placing or win.

The new list is the next stage, these teams have been choosen form those that entered and have now been invited to take part.

There will be a 3rd list issued late March and that will add the remaining entries based on Sebring etc.

I thought the Panoz Elan wasn't going to race again, or is it the new one??

I suppose in someways this is abetter system as the teams that suceed in Le Mans/Alms/Euro Le Mans series get recognised.

And in regards to White Lightning Racing. I believe they are putting on a gig like Audi did with Jamiroquai two years ago. Apparently it's going to be The Wurzels!!
