Title: Cheap pool
Post by: smokie on March 23, 2005, 10:30:54 am
I'm pretty sure this is the same pool a lot of us bought last year in Carrefour and was a similar price. The ad says RRP of £300, they are selling at £60, plus p&p of £6.

These guys used to sell a hell of a lot of stuff on eBay. Tents, chairs, sleeping bags, rucksacks, pools, trampolines etc. They've pulled out of eBay now and seem to be selling off a lot of stuff cheaply. Could be time to grab a bargain or two!!

If you have 10' long feet, perhaps you should meet the guy who appeared for a few moments on this site yesterday morning!

Bit vague, but here goes. There's one about 10 mins away from MB. You head out of the north end of Arnage up through the industrial zone. When you get to the big roundabout you turn left (Allonnes I think is the place). Its along that road on the right. Just looked on map and its on the D147e. Its signposted anyway so you can't get lost. Its about as big as Carrefour but quieter.

Cheers Stu

With all the road being dug up near Carrefour for the new tram system it sound slike that might be a better choice for the big shopping trips this year!

Used Le Clerc last year when we were on holiday, I was very impressed with the quality of the food, and especially the wine selection, good selection of 'better than plonk' :)

I see they also have airbeds for 6.50 euros, folding chairs for 7.50, picnic tables for 9.90.  However, do beware because these supermarket offers are all "first come, first served" here and they can run out.
