Guys and Girls
I've found someone who could do us some window stickers (the internal, self cling type)
Cost would be £80 for 250 for 120mm x 90mm, or £85 for 250 for 240mm x 60mm. Single colour printed (I'm thinking blue printed onto a white background?)
They'll take about ten days to turn around so if we are interested we'll have to move fast.
We also ned to know if we are allowed to use the CA logo as I am certain it will be copyrighted.
-
Right sorry for the late reply but been to work today and straight on the lash/pictures. I emailed Chris who told me that Dave Davies has the final say. I emailed him and he was happy as long as he could see the artwork. I suggested The new logo either plain or with www.clubarnage.com along the bottom. I am now waiting for the hi res version from Chris. The price sounds great and I for one want some.

Already sent to JP while you were out enjoying yerself Stu... ;)
They didn't have the website name so I added that...
And Chris has done one that says "Real Men Do It For 24 Hours" as a bumper sticker...with the CA logo etc
-
Cheers Smokie. Hope they can be done. I'll see Mark as he's on my site and I'm sure he'll crack open a bendy bottle.

Nice one Chris ( but the wife won't believe it)
Can you get them sorted Mark?. I'll have 5.
Stu
-
I'll take two! PayPal ok for payment?
-
I'm going to speak to the guy again today to check he can get them done in time. Although we'll have 250, Smokie and I can't see us selling that many so to ensure we don't lose out, I'd ask everyone to pay £5 maybe for however many they want, or £1 per ticket. That way, we only need 16 People to cover the cost.
If we get any more, we can either reduce the cost per peson, give the money to a chosen charity or put it towards some other item that we can all choose (I wanted to get some stubby beer holders for our group this year but we thought that would jinx the weather)
Due to the tight time schedule, I'd suggest that I'll get them done and take them down with me and everyone can collect them, from me at my pitch (Houx Annexe) or as Smokie suggested, at the Shampoo bar when everyone's drunk and people will buy more! ;)
-
Hey JPC - that sounds fair enough to me, sure there will be 16 who will front up a fiver.
-
I will have a few of those. Were do were send the fiver to?
-
I'd like to reserve a couple too.
I'm sure Wishywashyman would like to take a couple as well - he needs all the stickers he can get to keep The shed hanging together. ;D ;D
Are you out there Andy??
-
;D I want a few of this, jsut inform me of the financial and deliveriy conditions as soon as you'll know them !! 8)
-
I'll be up for a couple as well. At this rate the car will have so many stickers they'll be no glass to look out of!
-
you can put me down for 10
PM

I am waiting for the artwork to come back to me as a proof but it looks like we are on. Slightly more expensive as it will require two colours, not one, so final cost is £120.00 for 250. They should arrive with me by courier on Friday 6th June!!
I would "suggest" initially (by no means am I setting any rules here) that anyone interested might take 5 stickers at £5 to cover the stickers and P&P. Should we get sufficeint interest to sell more than £120 worth then we can either choose a charity for any balance to go to or we can refund a portion to everyone.
Anyone interested, please send a cheque for £5 payable to me:
Mark Every
9 Meadowridge
Hatch Warren
Basingstoke
Hampshire
RG22 4QH
including your address for them to be mailed to.
I realise this is not so easy four friends who are from the other side of the channel so if you want any please drop me a note with your address and I will either send them over and you can pay me when I get there or depending on time I can bring them over with me for you.
-
And we all thought you really were Jean Paul Chenet - French Aristocratic Millionaire Playboy and Grape Squeezer.
'Mark from Basingstoke' doesn't seem to have the same ring about it :'(
-
Cheque in the post tomorrow ;)
-
I'm afraid I have no links at all with our Millionaire friend. Although I might try to tap him for some sponsorship ;D
Maybe he'd like some CA stickers.
I tried to get the UK rep for JP Chenet to donate some t-shirts for our group but after returning one call he didn't come back to me at all.
-
well done you guys involved in this brill venture, i will have some off of you, if ok with you mark i will either see you at tetre rouge weds or on houx annexe on the thurs. thats if you are there.
suggestion what about the excess cash being given to chris to put toward new tshirt or mechandise for CA members or let him choose the charity.
-
Wow. It's really great to see the overwhelming response on this subject. As far as the extra money goes, I think that ultimately it is up to Dave, but I think that we should discuss it here.
I personally vote to turn this cash around and restart the Club Arnage merchandise section. The profits from which we can donate to charity.
-
Cheque in post tonight! For five. Well done! :o
-
Yep 5 for me too.

Chris - there is only just over two weeks to the race!!!!
Great idea though...
-
I'll take 5 too.. cheque in the post.
Looks like you'll be spending a few hours licking envelopes next wekend then, that should make the vin rouge taste even better ;)
-
Yea, cheque in the post for 5 for me as well, and I wont c*me in your mouth.
DB
-
I forgot to point out to everyone, theyw ill be internal windows stickers using the design earlier in the thread that was suggested for bumper stickers but they will also be "inverted" so that they are a blue background and white logo/text, like the logo at the top of this forum.
Hope that's still acceptable to everyone.
-
Send some here aswell, (cheque in post tomorrow. ;)
-
I'll have a fivers worth. will send cheque today. ;D
-
My £5 is on its way!
Thanks for organising this!
-
JP
I'll have 5 please. Cheque in the post (as they say).
Don't worry about the envelope having Denmarky things all over it, I work there.
Many thanks,
GeeBee

Hi,
Are they the static cling type that you can easily remove or the sticky once stuck they will never move again type. Would like to know as we are coming over in a hire vehicle and the owners wouldn't be too pleased if it returns with added stickers still attached.
-
CHQ on its way -
Well done and cheers
mark
-
I understand your concern Chris. I'm sure lots of others will have them on their cars fro events like this but not keep them on the car all the time.
I've asked for the self cling (not sticky) type so that they can be removed, so you should be OK.
-
Only just registered on the forum but been reading CA for last few years so thought I would show my support and send you a fiver for some stickers.
I'll put a cheque in the post tomorrow. What happens if over subscribed? looks like it could go that way.
Also like the idea of T-shirts.
-
Mark, our cheque is in the post, as we leave on Sunday 8th, we will not receice them in time, no problem as we may meet up with you in the champers bar. Then we can purchase some more. These ones will do for next year.
Thanks for sorting the stickers out.
Brian.
-
Hi Brian
Two options for you. Firstly, if the courier arrives early enough on Friday and I put them in a registered post envelope, would that guarantee Saturday mrning delivery?? (I'm not certain) Otherwise, I am trying to meet up with Smokie on Saturday to give him his and Giles' as he should be at LM by Monday (I think) I could give your's to Smokie too if that would help??
-
JP, Smokie has E mailed me and has kindly offered to collect mine. As he arrives on MB, on the same day as us, Monday. The the site is fairly empty, I am sure we will have no trouble finding each other.
Thanks again.
Brian.
-
Wonderful idea - chqs in the post for 5. Not long to go now until the ultimate boys' weekend away !!! :)
-
DO NOT post things like , weekend away,on here. It has took many years of training, to get Mrs Liverpool boys to agree to us being away for 10 days for a 24 hr race.
Sorry Smokie thought I would edit that one.
Brain.
-
brain...!
Mrs Liverpool boys might well be concerned about 10 days away for a 24h race...
You know that she knows that you are having a good time....
And it makes you feel a little bit guilty....
Underneath it all, she's probably GLAD to see the back of you for 10 days....
I don't ask why, but mine is too....
-
We're only away for 5 nights :(
Planning on longer next year!!
But I did hear about a couple of guys who planned a three week + holiday with their families. Left the UK end of last week, travelled down to the South of France where they abandoned wives and kids to go to the Monaco GP. Driving up to Southern Brittany this week where they will then abandon the wives and kids again for three days fisjing, followed by five days at Le Mans, then rejoining their families on Monday after the race to head home on the Wednesday. How they get away with it I don't know!!
-
Smokie, think it has something to do with the 11 months planning, for next years race, she can sometimes be heard shouting, why the fluck don't you shut up about Le Mans.
Good is it not. ;D ;D ;D
-
Mrs Slim (and she actually is) looks forward to our boys trip to Le Mans as all the better halfs get together while we are away and have a great time too. Thank goodness they have the kids to look after otherwise the 12 of them loose in Hampshire would be worse than 60,000 guys loose in Le Mans. (or at least I think they stay home and look after the kids?? :-\)
-
Brain, I get the same, exactly.
When my Mrs does that, she gets a blast of Bentley engine from the free cover CD I picked up last year.
She knows that discussion is at an end, and it's time for her to carry on with the ironing...
Horses for courses... ;)
-
Nice one Smokie, I know that you will get on great with our like minded crew. Just hope my one has finished pressing all my gear for Sunday.
Take care.
Brain.
-
Finally got round to writing my cheque for £5 and sticking it in the post! Await stickers with anticipation.
-
OOps ! Looks like I've touched a raw nerve mentioning "boys weekends away". Sorry 'bout that, but although we've been to lemons since 1981, I've obviosly missed the whole point of it. Perhaps it's got something to do with being a deaf teetotal vegan who only owns a pushbike !
That reminds me - must find the lights for the bike to Arnage........after I've found the bike !
-
Just in case there is someone unfortunate not to be able to make it. There are upto 35 young ladies having a bit of a wild time on sat night whilst were away :o :o
-
Who, Where, When, What, How, Why WRC GT4????
-
Just in case there is someone unfortunate not to be able to make it. There are upto 35 young ladies having a bit of a wild time on sat night whilst were away :o :o
for sale, 1 le mans gen enclosure ticket and ACO grandstand seat, will swap for address of the above party
-
35 of them, 1 of you, I make that Pimm's o'clock ;)
Either that or they'd eat you alive!! ;)
OK, hang on...change that to two GA tickets, one ACO grandstand and one Audi grandstamd tickets available. ;D
Reminds me of being in town at the weekend, a young lady with very butch looks and short spikey hair holding hands with another similar female (I'm making no assumptions here) was wearing a t-shirt that read.."Dip me in chocolate and feed me to the lesbians" :P
-
I tried the same t shirt, You can tell her from me it doesn't work :-[
-
Just a few wives getting together with some girlie friends (had to put young in case she read this ;D) seems they also have a traditional party whilst we're away ::)
-
You still haven't said where or when........ ;)
You see, we should have a plane down there Friday - Sunday so we could nip back to "entertain" them!! ;D
-
Hope she does not know about the two sex show tent's. :o :o
-
Saturday night in Swindon, couldn't possibly say where as the host don't yet know that it's at his house (he'll be with me at LM)
-
Nice one, we took a guy from a little village in Scotland, a few years back. He ate a full pack of Jelly Babies, after they had been stuck in every orriface that you could imagine, when he had sobered up,The he realised what he had done, he is now sick at the name of JELLY BABIES, thinking about it, so am I. It was not the best tent out of the two.
-
Back to the original thread.... Thanks JP, duly received and now on the lanes of Buckinghamshire. With service like that you'll never get a job with the ACO! ;D ;D ;D
-
Well done JP.
Car stickers received, many thanks,
I don't think the postman had any trouble reading my name and address on the envelope!
Will install sticker in van tomorrow, and distribute the rest to other members in party.
Best wishes. :)
-
Cheers JP, stickers arrived safe and sound. Now adorning the RR.
GeeBee
-
Many thanks JP - stickers arrived OK. The postman had to take his glasses off to read the envelope!
Have a good LeMans
DB
-
I was just wondering if there will be a oppurtunity to buy and collect the stickers of you at the circuit? If so where would you be?
Thanks
Andy

-
We only ordered a limited amount based on initial interest but we will hopfully have a few avilabe for extras and these will be available at our get together at the Champagne Bar in the village at 21:00 on Saturday night!
-
Thanks JP for organising this so well, and in such limited time. Hope you sold out, but where were you on Saturday???
