We haven't had a collective beverage for a while - does anyone have any preferred day / dates?

Well I guess it would need to be w/c 16th or w/c 23rd.
After that it's the bank holiday weekend and then the test weekend. Before that it's Silverstone.
How about Friday 20th?? Usual Venue??

Go to Oxford Circus tube station and take the Argyl street exit. It is Opposite.

I've been chatting to Mark about taking up one of his free places in his car/group and he pointed me in the direction of the thread. I am free friday night so ill pop up and introduce myself to you all.
Cant get there until 7pm but im sure that is fine.

I'll have to see - looks like I might be out in Essex on Friday so I could either scoot in on the way past (but I'm not sure I can afford the parking!!) or get back here and jump on the train.

You know it makes sense Geoff, as does dropping off the car and training it so you can have a drink!
BTW, after missing the train home on the last two CA get togethers (Reading and London) ::) I MUST get to Waterloo on time for a sensible train on Friday. Can someone please ensure I leave the pub by 11.15pm and head straight for Waterloo!!

I must have gone down the wrong aisle again because I didnt' see any adults, just single mums pushing their fake Burberry pushchairs along with one hand while shoplifting with the other!
(No offence intended to genuine shoplifters!)

I used to live at Billericay and my schooling was in Woodford so I know the routes. And what you propose isn't a bad idea!

Well the end of the week is nigh and i shall be meeting you lot tommorrow night. Just a quick question, what sort of time do you guys antisipate(my spelling is getting worse! :S) staying till? Just need to plan the best way of getting home on the wonderful TFL(SHITE) network!

My thoughts exactly, i was on the way home from London on saturday and it took me around 2 hours to go from Oxford Circus to East Croydon which is just ridiculous! Bloody trains/buses/tubes!

Anyway, I was planning to arrive between 6 & 6:30 and probably go around 7:30, as:
a) the car is in the station car park
b) I've got to fit the NOZ bottle onto the goped

Compared to what we got up north it is a very good system but I can understand how annoying it must be for you if you have to use it everyday.
Have spent my fair share of time on the underground at rush hour it is something to behold.
