Title: Aston Martin win 100th Anniversary Tourist Trophy !

Aston Martin Racing finished 1st and 2nd in the FIA GT race at Silverstone today to win the Tourist Trophy.

So that two wins from two races. Lets hope they make it three from three at Le Mans :)

Brill, well done.  I wonder if anyone from the team read these posts and realise how popular they are, and the support fans are eagerly giving. ;D

As you will see from "The light weight lid" thread, Dave was pleased to see us and invited us to his Party at LM (dont think he realised he was inviting about 250) ;D ;D ;D.

I seem to recall a Vette starting yesterdays race - dont thinkit finished though. I think we are in for some interesting racing :D :D :D

Hopefull with a bit of luck, they will soon be pissed about Le Mans to ;)
Can't wait for the GT1 race, could be a classic.
Only a month to go, I'm so excited ;D ;D

Congrats guys on the Aston win, looks like they've picked up some more sponsorship since Sebring.  We'll see the factory Vettes at Mid-Ohio this weekend, this will be the their last outing before Le Mans (as it will be for all of the ALMS making the trip to France) so I'm sure they'll be wanting to have a good run and go to the Sarthe with some momentum.

Did I mention I went to Silverstone?  ;)

Got me a nice Aston Martin cap... oh and some guy decided to vandalise the peek with his scrawled signature... it reads something like 'Brahbam', but it's a bit tricky to make out...
