Title: Buying tickets on the day...?
Post by: Sawyer on June 02, 2003, 02:10:05 pm
Hi
I was wondering if you can buy Genreral Admission tickets at Le Mans on the day?

If so, is there a risk of the tickets being sold out?

Also can you get car park tickets on the day too? (I would imagine these would be even harder to get..?)

Cheers
Rob

There is certainly no problem with buying admission tickets on the day, and I think you will find parking is easy to get as well.

You can get General Admission Tickets on the day by the box load. They never run out. The parking tickets have probably all been sold but you may get one off the Buy Sell page. Don't let this deter you from  going as thousands just park on any available verge, including the Dual Carrageway ones). If your arriving on the Saturday, beware as its chocker. You can always ring the ACO and see if their are any parking ticket returns. Numbers in the  thread at top of the help page.

We have been going for the last 10 years
- never had any advance tickets
- always arrive on Saturday
- always got a car parking space
- always got an entrance ticket

Best to get there late morning at the latest to have a chance with the parking.

If you cannot get parked properly then just be considerate - I believe they have tow trucks circulating this year for those who just abandon their cars - 80 euro fee !

Just go and enjoy - it will all work out and get better every year !
