Title: BBQ Post by: Gilles on June 02, 2003, 04:56:11 pm I was in a DIY store today seeing local stores preparing their LM stuff...
... BBQ and wood coal (and also extinguishers, but I don't understand why ;) ) And I just have an idea if it could arrange some of you. You may be a lot to buy BBQ and left them at the end of the week-end. As some of you will arrive on Monday when major stores are closed, I can stock BBQ in my place. I've got one week left to collect used BBQ in pre-owned items stores to make you save a few money. Please let me know if you need one BBQ, what sort, what shape, the maximum rpice you want to pay for it,....? And if it's only a good idea ??? Gilles Title: Re:BBQ Post by: mgmark on June 02, 2003, 10:20:31 pm Gilles - Personally, I don't need one, but I'd just like to say what a fantastic job you are doing as the unofficial Le Mans tourist board - keep up the good work!

Daytona Beach, Spring Break, say no more :P Title: Re:BBQ Post by: Gilles on June 03, 2003, 12:28:18 am Top man. My wife gets tired of the constant le mans talk in my house, how does yours cope. Gilles has more sense than to have a wife! Anyway he has a Panhard. I work on that question in th same way I work on my car (not the same tools anyway !!) If the actual one will still be the same in june 2004, you'll have the chance to meet her ! Being able to attend to LM annual social meeting was one of my main criteria ;) Title: Re:BBQ Post by: Andy on June 03, 2003, 01:09:00 am we all have a LM hypo nagging from the wifes,in common, mine now just states are you ready yet!!

Title: Re:BBQ Post by: Ruptured Duck Motorsport on June 03, 2003, 08:59:39 am My Mrs would kill me if she didnt come to Le Mans - she even managed to attend whilst 6 months pregnant in '99, missed 2000 as our daughter was too young to stay with the folks, now every year, our daughter looks forward to a week with her Nanny and Grandad!!!
I enjoy everyone letching and knowing that I'll be the one getting some, and they will just have their socks :D As a foot note, she isnt a "ohh isnt that a pretty red car" bimbet.... Title: Re:BBQ Post by: IanB on June 03, 2003, 10:26:43 am I am happy to stay with the sock for a week at least it doesn't talk all the time and it doesnt mind me farting!

To molify her I use the "perhaps we could do PQ next May, but do it in style, with a hotel etc" One day I might even mean it! Title: Re:BBQ Post by: Stu on June 03, 2003, 12:14:02 pm But Mrs Liszt might like it and then your shafted for the big one.
