I have the plate M3 WUW but with the little screw cap it would look exactly like M3 WOW. If you ave an M3 it must be a must for you if you've got an M3. Does anyone know the value of the plate. Thanks
-
eBay might be your best bet...
Valuation of plates, even by professional companies, is complete guesswork. I understand that you can register a plate for them to sell, but they take a huge slice of the revenue if it sells.

Double posted in "Sell or Swap" here http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/index.php?topic=4121.0 ::)
As regards the value of the plate, I believe Halfords can knock up a pair for about £15.
Or try A Plates http://www.aplates.com/aplatesshop/default.asp from £8 each.

I can't quite put me finger on it, but JH seems to think this is a lowrent annexe to e*ay.
No offence JH we don't spend much on here but time mate.*
And as for annexes, we prefer Houx's ...
:)
*all most of us buy here is Teeshirts and beer.

??? No it wouldn't!
It would look exactly like M3 WUW with a little plastic dot at the top of the U and everybody would look at it and think "what a pratt, he is trying to make the U look like an O!" and hopefully you would get pulled by the plod 7 times a week for making the plate try to read something which it is not.

Now now people. There is a huge and lucrative market in personalised plates, so whatever your personal opinion of them, I think we've covered the anti-view well enough.
btw I don't have one. But I'm changing my name to R BOB WEC, as with judicious use of screws and dead flies that's what mine reads... :)
-
Its cheaper to change your name by deed poll than buy a personalised numberplate anyways, Smokie has the right idea.
-
Peter, that's all very well if you have a half decent reg to change your name to. What am I supposed to call myself with a reg of W 632 UVV? May have to apply for a Russian passport if I think of a name for that.
-
Bob that's half the fun, when I’m in my Saab I'm Mr Y611DGK.
Which reminds of a story.
During the Second World War when the Polish pilots came over and flew with the RAF, they went through the usual medical test. During the eye test with one pilots when he was asked to read the bottom line of letters, he replied, read it, I know him.

I used to work with a guy who flew with the Polish just after the war, he always swore that they used to bit nipples off women.
Cheers, GN51 MKN (Which if you squint could read GNSI MKN, scary erh)

The father of a mate of mine, flew with the Free Polish Air Force. He used to keep a pin in the sun visor of his car, to jab in his leg to keep himself awake on long journeys.
Funny lot, the Polish Air Force.
Bye for now,
SLE 925W (it's not my current name, but my favourite of all my previous names)

Things have seriously gone flat on the ole' forum, this stuff is a thrill a minute!
66-JKE (on the Kawasaki today)
aka Fax

I'm sick that R918EMJ, is one off 917, which has to be the best car ever made. But I'm not changing my name to that or something in Russian, as it still wouldn't make sense, and I prefer to remain anonymous so that the tax collector can't find me.

Many a true word!!!

Now hears a thought , maybe everybody on the forum should use their vehicle reg instead of names to make them more recognisable on the road, then again maybe not ???
-
As an aside , has anybody realised that M3WOW with very little flies/caps/screws etc, is going to read in your rear view mirror ??? ??? ???

I know a few blokes that look better from the back too, and at least two chevrons distant!
