Looks the poodles parts to me Andy

How did this happen?
"Hand-assembled at Aston Martin's new, purpose-built engine facility in Cologne, Germany"
-
Agreed with Whitey - looks the business, not too shabby for a Ford. Sounds pretty good too judging by the sound coming from my TV set the other evening whilst watching Fifth Gear give it a test.
Other reports I have read also rave about the sound, although not all have the same opinion about the handling, but most have compared it directly with the Porker 997. In my opinion you would either want one or the other.
I'd certainly like to be in the position to join the 2 year waiting list....

I'll admit I've always had a hankering for any type of Aston (must be the repressed 007 in me).
So it's a given that, should Santa drop one down my chimney, I'd have a very wide grin.
Yes, I'd have one tomorrow today right now (although an 80's Oscar India V8 Vantage or an earlier DBS V8 is more my stylie).
edit - forgot the obligatory photo

My all time favourite would be the DBGT4 Zagato, stunningly beautiful.(http://)

When I was an impoverished student in Brum in the mid 70's I saw a spanking new Vantage (as per Steve's pick, I think) pootling majestically down the high street bearing the AM V8 plate.
Cool.

I am with you Peter, the DB4 Zagato is sublime, a few years ago they had an open day at Newport Pagnell and a "meeting" of Zagato owners - there were about 10 of them - no bad since they built less than 20. They were fabulous, heaven knows what the collective value of all of them was.
-
Don't forget that Victor Gaunlet "sanctioned" a number of Zagato's to be completed about ten years ago. This was a continuation of the original run as they found that the production run had not used all the chassis numbers that had been allocated and there was enough spare parts available and the original body buck was in store.
If you would like a Zagato, Rod Jolley, will build one, you just need to supply a DB4GT, they will do the rest!!!!
Love to have one, one day, hay hum

Not a spot on the Commer my dear chap......
MG Mark

My favourite is same as Bradley. Lovely car, V10 i think ?
Shame the new V8 hand built in germany is the same engine as in the new Jag XK. But then again, it would be silly not to use the same engines that are in the family.
I' swop my MG for the Aston, if they do Part Ex ?

I'm sure they'll doa P/Ex Robbo. It's the balnace they might not be so helpful about ;)

Robbo its a V8, but with a couple of very large blowers straped on, about 600 hp, yum yum. Met a guy at LM with on of these, he had a big yellow post-it note on the steering wheel with "LEFT" writen on it. Asked why? To remind him wich side to overtake on!! :o
Have to pass Aston Martin in Newport Pagnell once a week, tend to drive past very slowly, drooling.........
