What is going on this weekend in UK,Germany,Holland,Wales[my new found homeland],etc.etc.?
I have a feeling I will be paying close attention to the Weather Channel.

A friend of ours from Seattle went on vacation to Marathon in the Keys last week. We understand he's been evacuated.

I believe tourists were told to leave as early Monday/Tuesday.

My boss left yesterday for 2 weeks in Florida !!
Oh
-
Did he pack a broom ;D

Yes, I was kind of hoping we'd dodged the bullet this year - we're in the 'cone of destruction' along with you Randy - but the reality is that they have never got the projected path right. I'm lucky in that I don't have to worry about storm surge, like my coastal-dwelling amigo's.
I'm ready to board-up, the generators tank is full and so is my beer fridge.
Randy - if you'd be happier moving inland until this blows through - you and yours are most welcome to stay at Chez Harper in O'town.
My cell is 321 231 8188 - let me know.
Regards
Matt

Stay safe you guys

Stay safe you guys
Yes, too right. Good luck.

It's passed and my roof's still on. How y'all doing out there, Randy, Lee, Jupiter John - everything OK???
-
good to hear matt - we've been thinking about you over here....
That looks like one MOTHER of a storm......
I have my fingers crossed for every one of you....
-
Appreciate the kind thoughts Brad - it passed nearly 100 miles south of Orlando - but we still got some flooding and a few traffic signals down.
Some of the Turn 10 guys live in areas that got thumped, so I won't be happy 'til we've heard from those dudes....... probably without power right now.
-
Jupiter John,Gregish[GO-RILLA],Huge Lou,JOHNson, and Baxter[Fireman of the Year] all live in the Stuart/Jupiter area and are without power. No damage
to anyone's homes.Jupiter John had 100ft.plus pine fall and barely miss his
house.
It got very windy and rainy[It was a very WET rain].No damage to any
thing here.
Thanks for the invite Matt.
I will be in Otown in early Dec. for the Performance Racing Industry
trade show.We will have to hook up and have some cold ones. ;D
-
Very glad to hear you chaps are all ok. Can't be much fun, but at least it's gone and, theoretically at least, surely we're coming to the end of the hurricane season?
-
Hi Guys,
Glad to hear all you of you came away from her relatively unscathed. That sh*t's got to be getting old. As Dave H said about a year ago, its cold, dark, and rainy this time of year up here but I'll take it over having my house blown down or under water. Hang in there.

I've just received an interesting satellite image of Hurricane Wilma.
;D
-
Well Oliver, I certainly wouldn't like to be underneath that one! Yet another fine mess...
-
I guess from that picture, Wilma just let go with one mega fart in the pool. ;D
