Let's see what our favorite is and what they will present tomorrow...
-
I've heard it's going to be a V12 oil burner.
-
I bet it will be a open pedal driven go kart to win the 24 Minutes du Mans. ;D

interesting subject, has Bobblehat gone off in his winter sleep? >:(
-
i wonder when the first non-combustion car will compete?
-
My thoughts are diesel.I think the technology is there, and Audi would be just
the manufacturer to do it. 8)

So it's a V12 diesel then. The car looks 'similar' to the R8 though.
-
Its an R8 with black smoke, and a cabmeter
Diesel's got to work. White vans are the fastest things on the road so it all makes sense
-
Okay, the news is out, so I've locked the poll. Most got it right with the open LMP Diesel, lets smell it in June ;D ;D ;D
-
Just took a look at it, hardly thrill a minute stuff. Looks like a cleaned-up R8 with a sophisticated truck engine. Maybe interesting from a technical standpoint for the Audi engineers but I doubt it's going to make anyone giddy with delight when it drones into view.

Are you being rude about my friends and the old Bentleys?
-
Let's not forget the Chrysler Viper engine started life as a truck lump. Grrrr

Hi Lorry,
Not at all. Did Bentley build Lorries too?
Try 1938. And yes Fax the Viper too

I think it was Ettore Bugatti who referred to the Bentleys as the "fastest lorries ever made", and if you compare a Speed Six to a Type 35 you can see what he means. But then how often did a Bugatti win Le Mans? Is this an omen of good fortune?
Bugatti blew it, of course, with the Royale, which was far bigger than any Bentley.
