Sorry you're ill Smokie - I'm usually ill at Christmas but *touch wood* I seem to have escaped this year (subject to not too much wine tonight ;D )
I've got all I could want for 2006 here with me - the only that would make it better is a couple of MB tickets for next year! ;D

It would appear I have been somewhat remiss with wishing one and all a Happy Crimble and a Fab New Year so I shall do it now.
Happy Crimble and a Fab New Year One and All!!! ;D
Christmas was something of a write off as I was full of cold. Still recovering and need to build up my strength again. All very good excuses to drink copious amounts of Gunniess whilst in Ireland for the New Year. ;D ;D ;D
See you on the other side.

Zarses are back from the skiing trip all in one piece. Wish I could say the same about poor Bob, I had a text from him to say due to some bad visibility he'd an accident, twisted his knee and cracked his ribs. He didn't specify if this was on the piste or coming out of the local bar. It all sounds too much like Le Mans to me, hope you get better soon dude.
-
Only managed 2 days skiing. Have you any idea how bloody boring a ski resort is when you are injured :(. It's my first injury in 20 years on the piste so it's not so bad, must frame the x-rays.
-
Where did you go - Kent? The Christmas pilgrimage nearly resulted in me being stuck on the downs for a week.
As for the cracked ribs, they'll heal in a couple of weeks. I found getting in and out of bed was the most painful. Sleep sitting down if you can. I did mine in the Tribune Jaguar underpass. Still saw the race
-
No heavy breathing for a couple of weeks then Bob. That'll help the phone bill no end. ;)
-
Bloody hell Bob!! A few too many up the piste before the final ski home by any chance?

I wish, it happened on the afternoon of the second day, and another thing, I treated myself to a new pair of ski boots as mine were about 7 years old and were begining to look a bit dogeared. 320 euro they cost me and I only used them for 3 hours.
Yeah you are right Lorry it was a lot more comfortable to sleep in a chair for the first couple of nights.
